Speaking of Slowbeef I bring this up when Phil makes this ridiculous statement. The year Phil started is the same year Retsupurae started. So before Phil invented Let's Play there were already so many people poorly doing it a Mystery Science Theater style channel lampooning said people was warrented. Common things to mock included pointing a fucking camcorder at your television. Phil wouldn't change this for 5 years.

I got another one: I would argue that Phil's claims to have invented the letsplay are like that restaurant in Connecticut that "invented" the burger. See you look at the thing and see the elements that could be considered a burger but not quite it's more like a squashed meatball on a piece of white bread and a section of onion grilled on top. Same as Phil's "letsplays" it has elements that one would consider a letsplay but it's some dude with a shitty russian potato camera calling japanese people cahksuckers.
EDIT Wait I got another Jesse Ventura and his claims about being a Navy Seal, wasn't a seal in name he was part of the Navy's team who did underwater demolitions, lot of stuff they did would be emulated and expanded upon by the Seals but they weren't the Seals.

Yes, she is sneak dissing Phil in his chat, but Phil and his mods are whistling and acting like she doesn't exist.

I think he knows not to talk to her and in the process it's hilarious seeing him casually ignore her.

This is the kind of shit I'm talking about, she not, as Piggy likes to call people "kid" that checkmark means she has some clout and people listen to her now I don't care who does and from what I hear they're "those people" but this makes for an interesting turn of events. I'm gonna guess he'll do his typical shit talking after she leaves like he loves to do and that's why I think he was bullied because he was that chickenshit in school that would always mutter under his breath when someone he doesn't like was around only to shrivel up when called out and talk shit openly when they weren't there but hey it was never his fault they we get physical.

Dave's lore is that he invented the term "Let's Play" along with the entire format, and thus he should be remembered for all time in internet lore for making uber popular streamers like Pewdiepie a reality and also should probably get a cut of the money.
