Not trying to protect Phil, but he isn't wrong.
He would struggle finding a job that would pay anything close to what he makes currently. He has absolutely no skill, no valuable trait and lacks any and all work ethic. Mind you that's just judging Phil from a professional point of view. To scoop to a personal level, I find it quite hard to believe anyone would hire a forty year old bloke with very poor social skills, a twelve year working gap and very poor hygiene. That's leaving our his awful character defects like his strong sense of entitlement and self grandeur. God help him if someone decided to Google his name.

As such, I find it hard to believe anyone would hire Phil. However even if he does find some poor bellend that would hire him, he would immediately only make half of what he makes begging streaming.

That being said, he is an awful streamer. For someone that throws "fuck you" money at a mobile game, he invests very little if anything at all in his business. So he isn't just lazy, he just doesn't care. He is only driven by money, which is fair, and he will never ever make as much money doing anything else.
He will die begging children for money. That's his pathetic legacy, and his pathetic life.

In an age where employers almost always google their applicants, Phil would be utterly fucked. However, he doesn't need to worry, for I also agree that he will never stop the e-begging until his last days.

Has he a 12 year working gap though? Surely to goodness he would sauce-up his CV a little bit to say some shit like 'ran my own business and had multiple streams of revenue from different sources' or some other such.

My point being is is that he wasn't say on his ass the whole time (even though he was) and could probably still walk into a middle management job somewhere.

Surely he would, and I believe that might end up fucking him harder. I'm not sure if companies in the US are as exceptional as here, but here they would likely check how his business ran. So let's say they Google him, sounds fair right? They see he had to beg for money, beg for food, he insulted anyone and everyone he ever worked with, he got removed from most platforms due to his behaviour and he even went bankrupt. That's just things from the top of my head, and in hopes they don't look too deep.

Mate maybe he could, but even if he does most jobs come with some trial period. I have no doubt his character defects would fuck him over in said trial period.

Yes, there's no guarantee Phil would get his shit together if he was cut off. But it's pretty damn clear the money he does get is going straight to his addictions instead of bills or a bank account.

The fixation on this is as retarded as dsp himself. He doesn't need to make as much as he does now. He needs to make enough to pay his bills. He can easily work a real job and stream afterward just like people that work 2 separate jobs to make extra.

Fair point mate, but I doubt Phil would seek employment at my local Aldi or Tesco. On one stream he suggested working for companies like Boeing, which the best of luck to Phil if he thinks they would hire him as a manager or whatever.

Remakes good af if you like arpgs. Its pretty clunky and weird in some spots because 20 year old game design, but its as crack as ever.

But speaking of Hot New Releases Phil should also play the hot wheel game because Phil driving into walls in games sustains me.

Any well paying job requires experience or qualifications, he has neither. Employers hate gaps in C.Vs and his has been blank for over a decade. He wouldn't be able to talk about his legacy, because then they would check it.

To put that in perspective, his actual bills right now, not including food, are around $5K a month (including back taxes). So he needs to make $60K a year post-tax, which I assume comes out to something like $70K a year gross.

If he ever pays off his back taxes you can knock off another $1250 from his monthly bills, meaning he'd only need $45K a year net.
