A lot of people soured on Nick when they realized he was a wealthy jew lawyer who scammed a bunch of teenage kids into giving him their Wendys paychecks by promising he'd defeat SJWs once and for all.

To relate it to Phil, I wonder if he realizes how lucky he is. He desperately wants to be the next Ninja or Pewdiepie but if he ever started to pick up relevance half a dozen woke gaming journos would suddenly discover his extensive history of tahxic comments. He should probably stop trying to push twitch staff around because if his "detractors" stopped sending him tips and instead started sending timestamps to kotaku vultures he'd be kicked off in a second and sent to some shithole like dLive.

I'm late to the party. Do we dislike Rekeita for something?

The opinion is divided, as it should be in a rational forum.

Nobody here likes Phil of course, but the people in his "extended universe" like Rekeita are fair game to personal opinion.

Me, I'm not a fan. He's borderline lolcow to me. If he interviews DSP I expect a lot of back peddling and softball questions to lord Pig.

And how exactly would you interview Phil?

Go all 60 minutes and ask “hard” questions and “confront him with the evidence!”

Phil will say fuck you and hang up. That’s not an entertaining show.

What do you want to confront Phil with anyways? That he’s a sad lolcow who begs constantly?

Phil isn’t breaking the law, there’s nothing to confront him with.

I know some people who are waay too obsessed with “Bringing Phil down!” have this fantasy that if only it could be proven that he spent x amount in Champions, finally his paypigs will see the light and it’ll be the end of him.

Won’t happen.

It’s funny to see Phil lie about it and squirm, which would be the only reason for Rekieta to bring it up.

Go too hard on him, and Phil will just go hang up and we won’t even get him lying to laugh at.

Well, if he does interview DSP then we will see a measure of his integrity. He knows most of the lore, he even said that he feels DSP cheated his way out of the bankruptcy or something along those lines, and he knows how abusive he is to his audience, and he knows the history of the begging and always being behind on bills and somehow never paying his taxes. If somehow these subjects are skipped or he puts on the kids gloves, you know a deal was worked out between them and his journalistic integrity was sacrificed to the pursuit of exploiting an event important only to a relatively small amount of people.
But he's never claimed to be a reporter or a journalist (as far as I know, I've never seen any of his videos outside of DSP stuff), so taking advtange of a situation for personal gain isn't exactly a new or unique concept. I mean, he is a lawyer.

If it is entirely focused on DMCA related content, that's fine, too. It's legal stuff and he's a law streamer, so on paper this is in his domain. I suppose the bankruptcy is, too. But I doubt Phil will be baited into answers for the important questions, like where the 9000k month receipts are, how he used credit cards to pay taxes and got that discharged (as I understand it anything taxes related isn't dischargeable in the states, but I don't live there so I don't know) and for everything else he's crafted some story or another. But if it leaves those topics or he let's Phil go on anything resembling a pity rant, the trolls, how people don't give him a chance, etc. And he doesn't cut off Phil with the ol 'well, this is why that is happening' and play a relevant clip, since Phil's entire life is recorded or tweeted, then you know that the interview isn't about getting to any sort of truth about anything, and just about pandering for views.

So it's either about politics, or it's about money. It will be an actual interview or a scripted event. Wait and see.

I don’t like him. His whole thing was representing Vic, which he completely messed up then has made terrible predictions and opinions such as the DSP bankruptcy. Then he gives up his lawyer job so he can waste his life being a streamer shill and drink instead of being a real adult with a real job. He had talent for a real respectable career, and the saddest thing in life is wasted talent.

Him and DSP sounds like kindered spirits. Forget an interview, they should just collab together.

Rambo 2.0 arc incoming?

Then don't bother interviewing him in the first place if you are just going to have an extension of his prestream ramblings; it's not like DSP doesn't already blather on for several hours a day about his bullshit without rebuttal. The only purpose an interview with him serves at this point is for somebody to confront him on the things that saying in his chat will get you banned for.

I'd rather have a 3 minute interview where he hangs up, as you say, than an hour long of "so how did you get started streaming?" all while ignoring the issues which make him a scumbag lolcow.

In my opinion, his content is hit or miss.

I started to sour on him when he implemented the $20 superchat policy. To be fair to people who want their comment to be part of the current situation, he will read any chat of $20 or more as soon as possible. I mean, come on. Then he also shills wallets, teesprings, subscriptions, patreon, and whatever he does on Twitch and his other channels.

He's okay for entertainment once in a while, but I don't want to watch his black friend talk about how many white women he bangs. I don't want to watch Nick, some lawyer and Earthworm Jim talk about being good dads. I don't want to watch Nick read kiwifarms. I want something funny or interesting.

And I'm not paying $20 to send a message.
The dick masterson and PPP stream was cringey as fuck but still funny he has his moments outside of "wow phil you cannot be serious right now" moments he had while listening to the 341 call.

I think we all know and agree that Phil is a slimeball who cheats the system and with the luck of the pigroach DNA never gets any repurcussions.

It's still somewhat funny to have a lawyer explain it out in legalese and nick picked up on some details detractors missed for years. Like Leanna being on her mothers health insurance but not even staying in the same state as her, let alone household.

And the funnier part is Nick's wheelchairs pay him $20 for a superchat I think Nick might give Phil some tips about attracting the correct type of wheelchairs.

Also:

This is Phil's response to most questions asked by nick, calling it now

I would be curious to know just how much money he spent on retaining Roachelle's legal services. It's probably the best investment he has made in his entire "career".

This is something you could probably trick him into at least giving us a glimpse at, by, instead of directly asking a question, you just straight up say that his lawyer seemed to be pretty impressive, don't give him any credit whatsoever, and let his natural inclination to not want to share the spotlight take over.

I don't want an interview that basically boils down to Phil pre-streaming, but I also don't want it to last 5 minutes before the pigroach does the only thing he will ever, ever, ever do when he recognizes that he's being confronted: run away. Believe me, I would love for him to get grilled without mercy, but, thanks to his lifelong cowardly nature, the only way to do that would be to pignap him, and that's obviously not okay. Hitting him with a question he doesn't like and hearing him hang up isn't something I find satisfying. I already know he's a chicken-shit, what I don't know is what he's likely to let slip about Khet if he's given enough rope.

I don't expect Nick to quite handle Phil the way that I would, but maybe he'll get close.

See this is exactly why I do not believe for one fucking second that Phil has ever truly felt like he was the internet's butt-monkey. He's supposed to be thought of that way by his retards, but not actually be it, because complaints like THAT are not in line with being someone who really suffers. They're in line with being the "King of Suffering". The pigroach has never given one fuck about being slower to complete a game than others, but when there is an opportunity to play the role, all such facts go out the window.

Just another fucking con of is. Nothing more. That's the best thing to come out of the Superhound saga: being so thoroughly exposed as having put on an act for fucking years now.

Has anyone seen the Sodapoppin ban and apology vid that is being well received? I find it a great study comparing Phil with Sodapoppin and Dr. Disrespect who all got bans around the same time. If Phil just behaved like they did he would have a lot more support.

Dr. Disrespect seemed to just thank his fans without trying to shame them to pay his bills. Then his wife went to his fan discord, that he unlike Phil made to have real fan interaction with his biggest fans, and told them how much their support truly means to them both. Imagine Kat ever thanking the papaveras or Derichs in chat and thanking them for paying her husband so she can eat potatoes and taco bell.

Then you have Sodapoppin who made a great joke apology vid, and unlike the mature adult Phil, actually made jokes about wanting to see video game tits. Meanwhile, Phil tried to guilt trip the fuck out of his fans, took no time to truly thank them, and spent most of his time threatening Twitch because they wouldn’t let him speak to the site’s manager in email at 1am on a saturday. Yet Phil wonders why these other top streamers are more successful.

Good points. The weird thing about Phil isn’t that he manages to make 5-9K$ streaming every month, but that he doesn’t make more.

Which he could easily do.

Alas, Phil is lazy and resentful, so he won’t interact with his viewers in a meaningful way or spend quality time
with them doing more than the bare minimum.

He can gather enough initiative to mention his TeeSpring shit once in a while, but does absolutely zero with his Patreon. (That still brings in money.)

When a viewer asked him about the Patreon the other day, I could swear that Phil looked visibly confused for a second, because he probably forgot it still exists.

That would be amazing, no matter if he hangs up.

I remember during IBS Andy had an interview with Sargon, where Sargon kept Andy waiting. Once on air Andy told Sargon to fuck off, after which he kicked him from the call. One of the best things Andy has done in my opinion.
Here is a link to the best Sargon interview ever made.

Nick during the IBS drama of the Knoxville fight had Tonka on. He was very polite at first, but during it decided to turn on Tonka. Here is a link to how that went down.

If the same happened with Phil, it would be funny, Phil's rants after would be pure gold and Nick would get much better press than pulling a Quartering like interview.

Phil most likely finds the idea of Patreon ridiculous anyway.
Doing things? For other people? Special rewards for giving me money? They should be paying me just for showing up!

I agree, but we've gotta try and see this from Nick's perspective. Phil's just another internet scumbag, and not even one of the larger or more influential ones. In this interview Phil is Nick's "client", and so for this interview to be "successful" he probably won't discuss anything besides how DMCA strikes are bullshit. And, as others have guessed, most likely slip in some jokes about how "unkillable" Phil is. Nick also probably doesn't want to burn this bridge, as future interviews with Phil may happen, and The Guy is already a popular topic on his channel.
We're all aware of what an asshole Phil is, even most of the people who funnel money into his existence. So I totally understand Nick seeking to discuss something other than Phil himself.

Yeah, I don't get why people treat interviewing Phil as if it's a one in a lifetime chance to expose him as the big fat liar he is.

Phil's whole schtick is that he's a shameless coward. He will lie, lie about having lied, and run away to his safe space when confronted.

So no, Nick won't slyly expose him as the disgusting person he is, but he can at least make fun of Phil. Directly ask him about well documented scams. Phil won't confess to anything, obviously, but it'll be entertaining to watch him scurry away.

But Nick won't do that. It'll be another quartering interview where Phil proclaims how resilient he is even though so many people want to see him fail and yada yada.

Yet Phil wonders why these other top streamers are more successful.

That's just part of his act, if you ask me. You've seen how he is when he gets raided, he does not want a bigger audience, he wants things exactly the way they are.

@Fapcop The thing you must always keep in mind about Phil, when examining his success level and why it's not higher, is not his laziness or stupidity. It's his lifelong attitude of "Today will always be". Meaning, right now, he expects his retards to support him forever, and no amount of evidence to the contrary will ever jolt him out of that until it's too late. He has NEVER, a day in his life, been prepared for things to change in a way that forces him to exert himself more than he wants to, and I guarantee you that the reason he hasn't even tried to stay gainfully employable since finding even a bit of success on the internet is because when he found that, he was so elated that he finally had something that could be relied upon to never change. He finally had a venue where the laws of logic and reasoning do not apply, where he can live and be the lazy, unscrupulous, entitled, selfish, oblivious, idiotic asshole that he is without it ever resulting in a disruption of that dream lifestyle of his.

Basically, he found the key to having pigroach luck, and he's not going to do a damn thing different, ever, because this life where a pack of retards keep handing him money despite knowing he doesn't deserve it, seemingly forever, is what he wants. It's what he always wanted. The only thing that can get him to adjust in even the slightest is if the retards suddenly die off without getting replaced, and even then, the only thing Phil will works towards is getting that situation back, exactly the way it was.

Which, quite frankly, as I type all that, has me seeing him as rather boring from here on out.

It sucks Andy became such a loser. Also, even at the time no one was really on Tonka’s sign so it wasn’t much of a risk for Nick to go after him. I mean Jim and an at the time respected Killstream were tearing him apart.

3 minutes is optimistic. He'll be gone in a heartbeat the moment anything antagonistic comes up.

Oh yeah, I know! Phil has donkey’s belief in “This works and will always work!” and a long history of resisting any kind of improvements and changes.

(Youtube vs. Streaming, his video kahntent, his ridiculous insistence on filming the TV with a camera, lol!)

Every time he takes a firm, and stupid, stand, makes countless videos explaining why he’s doing everything correct and everyone else is wrong.

Until he’s dragged kicking and screaming into making a change, and after it turns out to work, pretends that it was his idea after all.

Is Phil boring? Meh, he makes for some entertaining drama once in a while.

Though honestly, half the lulz I get from him really comes from those of his hardcore detractors who throw autistic fits of rage over the fact that wheelchairs donate money to Phil.
