"Profits from selling my house wouldn't pay off my debt."

So, last year, in a reply to a now-deleted tweet, Phil confirmed his debt to be at least $250,000. He could always be lying, but it is what it is. Nothing I could do about it; but I digress. *snort*

I don't think there is any doubt that he's basically drowning in debt at this point. Anyone who doesn't believe it is like a sandy hook truther because there are much easier things to use for begging than "please pay my debts which have come from my frivolous spending over many years"

The $120K in profit he would make off the house at current market value would definitely put a dent in it. Lot of good that business degree did the stupid cunt.

“Kat, I need you *snort*... I need you to to take my phone *beltch* oh, that was big one... I need you to take my phone, okay, and take a picture out the window so I can post it on instagrahm. Okay, sound good? Thanks, and remember to pledge to my Paytree-in.”

Has Aminityville being a Phil sock account been explored?

I don't think DSP is smart enough to sock, or he'd do it in the stupidest way possible that its impossible to detect.

Amityville is clearly just a detractor pretending to be a DSP fan and giving the world a look at what an ideal DSP fan would be like. He does a pretty good job and is quite dedicated to it.

Ah, now I see what you meant by “slip up”.

At this point it is safe to say he is deluded because shit. Yesterday was one his last shots to actually pay off and whilst I believe his tax situation is no where to the level it is, I believe he is either going to a) feel a massive burn or b) get audited because when they see 100k and that many write offs with the debts. They want their pound of flesh.

What does Phil do - go to fucking some Trader Joes and spends exorbitant amounts on groceries where he could of got them for 1/3 at wal-mart.

Yeah after the last week has unfolded definitely Amityville is some chaotic neutral detractor who likes fucking around in the pig pen. Kudos to him reading that amount of autism daily must be taxing.

We've discussed before the fact that Phil even at his lowest still makes more than he would at an entry level job, but as an addition to that: Phil is not going to get a job just because he still makes more doing video game shit, he literally could not survive with his level of debt with an entry level job. And an entry level job is all he's good for.

Even if he and Kat both got entry level jobs (at $15 an hour) that's only $5200 a month before tax. Would that even touch his base level bills?

No it wouldn't pay off any of his bills at all.

At this stage, he basically has to declare bankruptcy (which is something he knows and has mentioned previously when discussing talking to his mom about his debt). And then the banks would find a way to consolidate all his debt and give him a payment.

I'm pretty sure there are laws stating how much the bank can actually force him to pay in a situation like this (pretty much being unemployed) so he will never technically "drown" but before that happens he will lose both his houses, his car and all his possessions.

There are plenty of people who have had tons of debt and ended up unemployed, so its not really a new situation.

A normal person who's fiscally responsible? Sure, it'd be tight but it's doable.

Phil Burnell? God no. He lies about his finances, but there's no denying he pays more than an average family of 4 does per month. Of course, the average family doesn't own two properties; a property which could massively alleviate some of Phil's monthly bills if he'd just sell it already.

People have just suggested he could do both. Work during the day. Say from 8am - 5pm. Then do a 4 hour stream in the evening. No editing required. He's given up youtube. Would be easy. And people would still give him the same amount or more.

----

Little tip for anyone with credit cards or mortgages.
You can reduce the rates you pay on both.

EVERYTHING is negotiable.

Just call them up and say you want more credit and reduced interest rates. If they refuse say you're cancelling the card. You'll be passed onto about 6 other people. Until they magically give you what you want. They won't cancel the card.

You can also reduce interest rates on mortgages. By negotiating with them.

Or you can go to another bank. And transfer all of your business to them. And negotiate better deals. They will do this.
