Okay guise, though we don't have goals anymore, if we see continued engagement and support, my special turkey burger from a local restaurant for American Thanksgiving will be the next DSP Tries It. So what is a turkey burger? Let me explain. Perfect except he would say American STYLE thanksgiving .... add in a few more MEANINGFULS and ALOT more "WE'S" And instead of the "real talk for a second" it would be "I'm gonna be perfectly AHNEST" As we all know he tends to try and make his "fans" think they're the ones who wanted this not him and he's trying to do them a huge favor.

Did you personally know anyone with a NeoGeo? Did anyone? The Sega Saturn was rare as fuck, NeoGeo was basically mythical. Released the same year as the SNES with fewer titles, and then 3 years later the ps1 released.

All the good NeoGeo titles could be played at the arcade, and my only memories of it are emulating it as a novelty. The original hardware and capabilities were legitimately interesting but does anyone buying an HDMI repro care about that?

The big question: will he buy it or will "fan" "gift" him one?

I remember Funcoland having the games and console in stock. Console was $900 and the games were $200+ each. Friends had Sega Saturn, but I dont remember ever seeing a NeoGeo at a friend's house or anything.

Cant wait to hear Phil's madeup stories about it!

So what's the point of these edits? If it's just the "good parts", there are no good parts. Most of this video is him running around confused which is exactly what any normal YouTuber would cut out of their edits. There really isn't a point to them existing at all. Does he expect to get new subscribers for this? I watched about 10 minutes and it's your average DSP stream but with dono shoutouts cut out and really trying hard with the jokes. Nothing as unfunny as darksydephil trying to be funny so he can clip himself into a funny montage. It's so fake and disingenuous.

Everytime I lame ass low effort faggot shit like this I'm reminded of that episode of the Simpsons where Homer's trying to get on disability and one of his ideas is to get hurt on a construction site by standing in a specific spot in the hopes of something landing on him but it ends up falling to either his left or right so he moves and again it misses him. What was I saying? Oh yeah this is another example of the Maxim of Phil that states for Piggy the only bad publicity is NO publicity so you gotta make it up when you got nothing.

He's doing something which in my estimation is even more fucking retarded- he's trying to OWN the memes and MILK himself. Someone probably told him behind the scenes it was a good idea to start making fun of himself more only whatever nigger that was sucks at editing. The khantent is still boring and unwatchable.

Who is this even for? Neogeo was never popular in the west, it's absolutely ancient, and there's not a soul clamoring for its return. All the good titles have been ported/emulated a million times over so it's not like we missed out either.

Plus I'm pretty sure the neogeo arcade hardware had better specs than the home console so emulating really is the patrician's choice if you want fidelity.

The reason the NeoGeo wasn’t popular as a home console was because the console cost $600 in 1988 money and games ranged from $200 to $400, because it was a console version of the arcade NeoGeo system, with identical specs (you can even get adapters to use the arcade carts in the home console). which had quite a few hit games.

Then new one is a clone of the original hardware with updated A/V output and added features and can play the original carts as well as the new reissue carts.

For anyone who was into NeoGeo games back in the day, this is one of the coolest things ever.

The home systems that had Arcade equivalents where the home systems had lesser specs were the SEGA Titan and NAOMI systems, whose home versions were the Saturn and Dreamcast, which both had half the RAM of their arcade counterparts, which was why so many Dreamcast ports of NAOMI games had framerate issues and visual cuts.

It is, but the price sucks. $70+ for each game is nuts and only justifiable for collector types. Even for those who insist on playing the real licensed games, there's various ways to do that for much much cheaper.
