DSP is seeking human connection, which should provoke empathy. He’s terribly lonely. Unfortunately, he’s so impaired that this outreach happens in the middle of the night and it becomes a long attempt at demonstrating his, ahem, arguable superiority rather than a friendly exchange. Sad and distasteful, like Phil himself.

Simplest answer is usually correct. Phil's been mocked for slipping out many times that Kat sleeps in separate rooms, and now he's poorly trying to retcon it but he can never keep up with his endless lies, not that it even matters because his tells are so obvious now.

Phil sucks for sure but theres women who have accepted getting beaten to a pulp every couple of months and suck sweaty dirt fat guy dick as a fair trade off for a roof over their head and a monthly allowance. Khet dont even got fuck phil probably. He dont beat her. Phil is an annoying little bitch but on the totem pole of "why would she stay with him" Phil relatively low. Women like khet dont have many options this late in their lives. Not to sound like an incel but shes kind of beholden to him at this point. Without Phil she has nothing and on her own she isnt gonna be able to repalce this lifestyle. Shes not gonna be able to afford a home or even an apartment on part time entry level retail work. They could make her the manager and that wouldnt change. Shes kinda fucked. Women are super capable but like the cards are way stacked against in terms of independence. Imagine jumping in the game right now practically level 1 kid 30s, but with the 2020-2026 economic outlook patch applied. Youre so fucked. Phil is the best option until some another nigga show up and that dont seem likely. Not one as conducive to this fatass lazy lifestyle. No way. Shes a lifer imo. Even if the marriage a sham I dont see it ever ending. Its too good a deal all things considered. As long as the house is there and Phil is able to "make a living" streaming fuck it, at least from the mind of a bitch in a lame marriage just for the sake of self preservation shes doing alright. As shitty as that may be to hear.

To be honest, as much as Phil craves human contact, he wants it on his conditions. He wants to be condescending to Wings.

It's been said before, but Wings got dealt a much shittier hand in life than Phil and he tried to do something with it, despite his flaws as well. Phil wants to talk how much he's grown as a person, but he's stuck in his teenager years mentally, which is why he keeps on repeating that he's a mature responsible adult.

I think that Step 1 for Phil would be to accept that he's not better than Wings.

If anything, it's the only thing Phil's done that's actually human and relatable. I couldn't see myself replicating any other part of his weird, alien life, but it's theoretically possible someone could catch me zerkin it.

Lets make one thing clear:

Phil does not have loud neighbors, he would complain endlessly about it if that was the case. Remember with Phil everything is a lie and you need to look at the kahntext.

Khet on the the other hand does indeed have a very loud and obnoxious neighbor, I don't blame her for trying to simulate being deaf.

Its also pretty clear that Khet was not in the same room, you could hear the bed squeak several times, but it did not squeak right when Khet talked, which would be very strange considering she weighs 300lbs. The bed didn't squeak as she turned around, talked and then turned back or anything, she just started talking. She also sounded like she was far away, and didn't sound at all like she was lying on her back (Phil did sound like he was lying down).

Separate bedrooms confirmed.

This is the funniest scenario because to me it sounds like Phil stays up drinking every night but has to be really quite so he doesn’t wake up the beast

It’s like when I was a kid and would wake up in the middle of the night and go to the basement to play video games or watch tv but kept the volume real low so my mom wouldn’t wake up, except he’s in his 40s
