This likely happened, seriously. Supercard's main way to get the best stuff outside of buying it all at terrible odds, was winning King of the Ring events which required you to log in and recharge every few hours. If you didn't recharge and your opponent did, you'd certainly lose even if you had the better cards. Just more the usual crap these trash mobile games do to make you addicted.

I really wonder how long he can keep this up. People have been saying he was on his way out since at least 2013 but it seems like he's always going to have a few dedicated people that will keep him afloat through whatever comes up.
At some point, it has to end because everything does but at this point I have no way to predict when or how that will happen.

On the other hand, I like making fun of the pigroach so that's fine by me, baffling as it is

The past week or so I noticed DSP's live viewer count being pretty low at random moments, so since I was bored while battling the flu (:_(, I decided to dive into this a little deeper. This also ties into the observations about how utterly boring and low-effort his streams are.

I went through the archived re-streams and took the live viewer count from his own channel (DSPGaming) at hourly intervals, and these are the results. Not ground-breaking stuff by any means, but I wanted to share this anyway.

Some conclusions:
  • The average live viewer count is hands down abysmalfor a Youtube channel with 219K subscribers
    • not surpassing the 182 mark during early streams
    • not surpassing the 156 mark during late streams
  • The highest number of live viewers is 350
  • His best scoring streams were the two Battlefield 6 streams
    • more people tuned in just to see the train wreck of his game journalist-style skills
  • Looking at the average viewer count and his $150-per-stream goal, he basically expects literally every viewer to give him $1, which is absolutely insane
    • but in reality it's 3 to 4 whales coughing up 50-70% of the total amount of contributions, every single stream without fail
  • Everyone loves DSP now!
  • DSP is fat and I would not have sex with him

You don't know what you're talking about. Why, just yesterday, that fat fuck said his streams are doing better ever since the level 666 podcast. And the numbers don't lie! The number of goals that is. In fact- oh. Oh he missed both goals yesterday? Oh he's fucked. He's going to the well far too much and draining these dents dry.
It does beg the question that if he hadn't leeched on the Casino last year where would he be today? Back then... he was barely hitting $100 a stream consistantly. The only reason he thinks he's doing better is because of the influx of new blood.

It really does my head in to hear him say he's waiting for people to show up at the beginning of the stream. He'll just sit there doing nothing waiting for what? 300 live viewers? Maybe the reason he's stuck at 200 is because nobody wants to wait around until someone gives him 50$ to start playing the game?

"hundreds a week" isn't much compared to his peak spending amount. So yeah, if he's gotten depressed to the point he's stopped enjoying it we could be seeing a resurgence on the DSP lasting forever meme!

Imagine if he's still doing this into his 50s somehow. That would be wild. Between pigroach luck, and his powerful pignosis abilities over autistic people (both dents and detractors that give him money), it's not off the table entirely. I want to say its unlikely but I would've predicted he'd stop "full time" streaming years ago.

Not if I can help it. I'm watching neither raw Phil or his Kick Stream. By the powers of the 2-photon double-slit experiment and a little Philly-styled narcissism and solipsism, he will not reach the second goal as long as I don't watch. It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.
