Before this stream the funniest scenario I could think of is multiple empty chair segments where he'd yell at customer support because his toy didn't arrive yet. However, the juxtaposition of the very beginning of the stream where he already had the Switch 2 and was bragging up and down about it and how "DA TROLLZ LOST! YOU TRIED TO TAKE ME DOWN BUT I AM THE ROCK THAT WAVES CRASH AGAINST BUT YET I KEEP STANDING" and then the very end of the stream where he was having a melty because he made less money than what he spent at all the junk he bought along with his new electronic toy was just chef's kiss. It's like God sees Phil becoming too smug and decides to get in the middle of it.
 
phil's biggest losses come when he's the most smug. even a fucking dog would have learned by now to not have a 18 minute speech about how the detractors are finally finished this time!

He probably hasn't played MArio Kart for a long time. My last was on the Wii and when you are leading you will get shit on by the CPU opponents while not having defenses. As others said it'sa chaos game and that is where the fun is

You never fully get used to the bullshit and that, at least for me, is half the fun of games like Mario Kart and Mario Party or even Smash.

I remember years ago having a really bad race against the CPU and had to drag myself up the pack and as soon as i crept into first on the last lap on the final stretch i see the marker for the blue shell coming, throughout the entire race there wasn't a single blue shell launched until the moment i moved into first and all I could do was shake my head and slow down enough to take 2nd and 3rd out with me. It's those moments that make these games and Phil simply doesn't understand it. Had no one told him he had assisted driving on he would never turn it off and think he was just a Mario Kart savant.

As one of those insufferable autists who is good at Smash and Mario Kart. Its not even that hard to work with this shit. Especially as one of the overall best gamers. Like I was 13 fucking learning that shit like the rotating shells is so good because it saves you from bullshit hits. Or hell that big car horn item even beats out Blue Shells.

But more to the point, yes, it is what makes it fun. Like learning all that shit is what makes mario kart fun. Becauae you get caught with your pants down. But you're also retarded if you think there's nothing you can do dood.

Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but I could swear that back when he played Mario Kart 8, he was not even close to being this bad. He was bad at a lot of games, but he at least seemed to put in effort back then. This just further proves that he has genuinely gotten worse at gaming, and the drinking and gacha addiction(along with detractors being on his mind daily)isn't helping.

Who went live 10 minutes "early" because someone said they would gift subs and literally said that guy owes him money because he turned on the face cam. I’m extremely confident that every detractor cried themselves to sleep last night on account of Phil’s victory in spending ~$800 on plastic and cobalt that he will never either learn to use to the devices’ capabilities, or enjoy. He could’ve pulled a Walter White and just lit the cash on fire and dispassionately watch it burn except that would have necessitated him going outside and we all know he doesn’t do that anymore.

You sure showed ‘em all, Phil. You have a debit card and a small amount of disposable income, once you’re all done eat and drinking all your serotonin, and your fat useless fucking wife is done buying shitty paid Skyrim mods for the week. Shit the bed, it’s not like thousands of other people did the same thing you did (or better, since many of them preordered the fucking thing then stopped thinking about it until release day instead of obsessing over it and how much of a Life Upgrade it will supposedly be). You bought a thing you won’t even have fun with, and because you are a pathetic degenerate addict it will never bring it the money from your fans in the amounts you’re hoping. You are so far below both “playing the shit yourself” and “watching someone funny or entertaining play the shit instead” that you can’t even see the soles of their shoes.

You did get one thing right, though. You are legend. But you have all of us to thank for that.
 
Btw did a quick check on Tiktok and there are already 2 tiktok's with his shenanigans in Mario Kart. but they are not the "Game Journalist" memes (yet anyway). Still a chance to go viral again
