"I need to make enough to pay for my day off this week."

That line encapsulates Phil Burnell to a T(-pose). The expectation that he is owed money for leisure. The demand that he not have to do anything beyond the bare minimum to get it. Truly amazing.

The emotional manipulation coming from this guy is unreal:

"I know that if anyone could tip, they would have by now because I know you guys like the stream. If you can't afford to tip, don't sweat it but it sure would be nice if we could get some more contributions."

Straight-up guilt tripping anyone with spare money who hasn't tipped yet, like he's owed their cash if they enjoy his content.

I may have missed discussion about it but has anyone else noticed in the last week Phil just stopped taking breaks at 2PM his time and now instead just gets up and leaves at 1:40PM or a little before?

He still returns at the same time as before. So he's literally now, daily, just getting up and leaving his stream for 30-40 minutes. Pretty based. He's also returned to taking a long break after the prestream whereas with Elden Ring he was smart enough to actually just take a piss and come back.

Yesterday he was gone for 20 minutes, played one hour and then left for his second break of 35 minutes.
If I had the time I’d do a cut of his videos down where he isn’t sitting in menus or spinning his wheels and we could see how much time a day he actually spends but I have better things to do than give him free publicity even if it’s for here.

Daily Beg.JPG

The Daily Wrap features a beg directed at the "On Demand" audience for their help.
That birthday money is long gone and we're in full 'my day off' begging. It's a pretty audacious move to pull this card so closely and sloppily after a 'holiday' event like that.

Good title for the daily beg already. Appeal to the on-demand audience, can you guess what it is? PLEASE TIP ME (or patreon). Third straight slow day, which means, HATES to say it, but just cause he got a lot of money for his birthday you can't close your wallet piggies. The internet bill, the town house bill = 900 dollars, the money IS NOW GONE. Please tip.

EVEN IF YOU DON'T TIP HE'LL HAVE ENOUGH FOR GROCERIES.

Edit: audio tweet beg as well, because of course "please tip, even if you don't attend" "all the extra stuff that I made [laughs] went to bills"

Haha what a crazy coincidence that DSP has a bill coming up RIGHT NOW that costs almost exactly as much money as he's made in the past 5 days, what are the chances??? *arm flail* What can ya do, that's life *shrug and leg slap* :stress:

Phil explicitly says that he has had 3 slow days and did not hit tips goals, specifying that he didn't get to the second tier.
This is a lie, he got $150 on Friday's day stream.

He also acknowledges that things may have slowed down because of the birthday marathon where people went above and beyond. Now people think the rest of the week is a 'calm' week.
So he's admitting here that he expected a direct boon just because it was his birthday. Regular tips goals are still expected regardless of how much he was given on that day.

His reason for begging is that he has two very large bills coming due at the end of the week.
But this is a problem because those are fixed bills which he has every month. So if the birthday was an influx that still left the week relatively consistent, then he should not need all this extra money. He says that he just needed to have 'normal days' to pay the bills, which would means that he needs normal days in addition to the massive payday for his birthday.

He also deliberately speaks in circles in this section. He implies that he just paid big bills that drained the money he made, but also he needs money for these big bills that he hasn't paid yet.
Please note that the YT payment on the 21st of last month should have covered all of this.
He then concludes by begging for money so he can have a normal day off. Which is interesting because that is hundreds that has nothing to do with those urgent bills that he needs money for.

It's been a while since he has been this frantic about his nonsense bills begging. He likely let himself indulge because that was his 'birthday money' and it was his to play with and is now realizing that overdid it.

He's so fucking lazy with the excuses and justifications he gives for demanding large tips right after these marathon events. Claiming to have "a large bill" coming up as the reason for needing even more money just makes no fucking sense on so many levels.

If you're averaging X amount per stream, and the marathons are relatively uncommon (once per 3-4 months) then if the baseline amount of tips is sufficient to pay the bills, the timing and value of which should be constant (ie. he should be getting this "big bill" every month at the same time) then why do you need more money than what you've made?

It's not like your car broke down and you now need $2000 to have the transmission fixed. Bills are a static "operating cost", so treating it like a surprise expense which needs an immediate influx of cash is just asinine.

Here's the fact check: He's received an average of $276 in tips per stream day, this is above average for him. So it begs the question, if his "birthday stream" was just a normal stream, and he received $138 for EVERY STREAM this week, would he still be begging like this? Because that's the equivalent of what he's made in total.

Someone tipped Phil and said that he is glad that phil rebranded to support the LGBT community. Phil got upset because he says he was always an ally of the LGBT community and didn't want it to be spun that at one point he wasn't.

Debunked!
Big ups Hate Army Watch.

What he actually said in the past wouldn't even matter. There's nothing wrong with calling something gay or calling someone a fag when they act stupid. Its the fact that now he wants to pretend like it never happened and that he's an 'ally'. Its pure performance so he doesn't get kicked off of whatever platform he's on. He doesn't stand against facists or racists or whatever. He goes with the flow like a fucking jellyfish

He's right. He isn't 'God fearing' he fears cancel culture. And the deeper he gets into the 'I'm an ally of everyfolk' mentality, the worse its gonna be when someone sees a video like this and he has to answer for it. And the best part is he won't be able to go "I was a different person". Because he just said "I always supported the lgbtq". Oooh I can't wait for that day.

And keep in mind he was at least in his late 20's/early 30's during most of those clips. So for half of his life, it's safe to assume, he acted like an asshole. You don't change after all that time and certainly not in the whiplash way he did from early YouTube Phil to the Phil we see now.

Edit: adding more thoughts. fixed spelling

If he made more than $1000 combined income on a single day this week yet "all the fund is gone because of my 2 large bills every second week of the month"........

Then how the fuck did he survive the other 11 months of the year after the 2nd week?

Um, no. That is not guilt-tripping. He is stating matter-of-factly that if you like the streams, you should be tipping because he can't be streaming without contributions, okay.
And if you DON'T like the streams...then fuck off! No, really, fuck off!
So if you are watching, you are having a good time, and if you're having a good time...hint hint hint!
