Can't give you a good answer other than money. Whales really dictate what he will play. He is known for vetoing polls and them being rigged a lot until it meets his criteria of what he can tolerate. One Piece, Skyrim, Lost Judgement, Dangan etc are determined on BTS bullshit he does on what is being played.

The polls are worthless until he gets a whale to snag on them. Like look at Gamepass shit, all but One Piece were just simply walk and do fuckin nothing games. What determines what is on the poll? Which one ended up being the winner there for first pick? Yeah the whaled one. He hasn't touch a Musou game since the Zelda one and now he's down for it.

And then if something does get requested by non whales (RE4 for example), he pulls the "YOU guys REQUESTED it! What's going on!?". when tips are low. Whale ones like Judgement he also does the guilt trip of "Everyone thank (whale) for contributing the most" like in Judgement.

Y’know, except that he stopped playing Divinity 2 and Morrowind.

This part is funnier to me as a musou fan. He's such a casual normie that he ignores a franchise that he can easily play without much effort because it isn't big "triple A" shit. And even then he manages to find new ways for someone to fuck up playing these types of games.

Y’know, except that he stopped playing Divinity 2 and Morrowind.

Those games kept asking him to put a modicum of thought into them. Phil has a limit before his braincell gets overworked.

Also for divinity he refused to even consider getting invested and was behaving like a spoilt brat. criticizing it like he was expecting some AAA masterpiece instead of the love letter to CRPGs that it actually was.

One guy took off work just to watch and donate to him because he said trolls are laughing at his low stream tip donations and need to get donations.

It would absolutely work, but the fact you have 5 tiers for him to pay attention to... will never work. Too much work for him. He wants to get money the laziest way possible... and the fact that the strategy of tipping at the very in end of his stream just to to make everyone else waste money just to donate at the last minute to get the "reward" is very concerning and idiotic. People need to donate all throughout the stream. Period.

One thing I did want to comment on that did suprisingly irritated me, even though he rarely does. But the fact that i use to work these shifts and he calls him self a blue collar worker its justified:

Millions of Americans work 8 hours a day with a 30 minute lunch break every single day, and they are not sitting on their asses playing a video game the whole time... but for some reason.. this is impossible for Phil. The BLUE COLLAR LIVE STREAMER btw.

Millions of Americans do the work schedule that guy suggested and they do it while having to leave their house and their refrigerator isn't a downstairs walk away. It wouldn't kill him, but he's so lazy he calls the guy an idiot and says its impossible despite millions of Americans doing it day after day after day.

This is how disjointed with reality he is. A common work schedule would kill him.

Not to mention he's said he would open a restaurant if he had enough money. One of the hardest business to operate.

Sifu is going to be an absolute trainwreck, and I can't wait to see the ragequit.

Nobody seemed to care much but like a week ago when he was playing GamePass games he tried out Dead Cells. He got absolutely destroyed and was confused by everything. He never made it past the second map. Dead Cells is a pretty challenging game but when you actually pay attention to what you're doing and learn enemy patterns it's not so bad, at least on the initial difficulty. While it's possible to get "carried" by certain weapons if they're high quality, they kinda fall off in terms of damage near the end unless you find something better. I don't expect to see Dead Cells show up again on his streams because he can not get carried through everything, even if chat was telling him what to pick.

His level of gameplay skill, while never extraordinary, has deteriorated harshly in the last few years of playing games where he can get carried by chat, or just playing walking simulators. Although I am kinda amazed that he actually finished Returnal (while bitching up a storm about everything involved with it). Sifu is going to destroy him. I can't wait.

Big ups Snort Burnell for this one. Holy shit Phil loves to bitch about not getting his way with a game being slow not getting him the paypigs' money. It couldn't be the fact that Phil is boring as shit, and no one wants to give him money for doing fuck-all. I'm still waiting on Phil to essentially be doing what he did with Pokemon Sword and Shield at the end: riding around doing nothing, and his paypigs (save for certain ones) throwing him a coin or two.

- block ALL social interaction, no chat, absolutely no voice, hide player names, auto decline party invites
- skip through all the quest text
- fail to do his 3 button rotation

Somehow I think that even if he had a dedicated carry group, he'd still fail to accomplish anything because he couldn't even be trusted to log in for raids on time.

I wanted to see him play FF14 so we could at least get him having some sort of rant about Japanese games, women in games, and him being uncomfortable about the bunny and cat girls. After awhile someone in his chat will make the mistake of asking Phil if he finds a fictional woman attractive. Which will then lead into him calling his chat immature idiots.
I know all of this and I still want to see this trash fire.

I actually commented on a stream that the game looked like shit, but I've just finished watching a playthrough of it and I take it back. Sifu has a really good aesthetic/vibe, and the mechanics look really interesting, I feel like the devs actually put a lot of love into this game.

Phil is for sure going to get his shit kicked in, this is expected. If he can get through this playthrough without straight up insulting the devs at some point () then he'll have earned a little bit of my respect because this is going to be a really deep salt mine.
