if you're one of those fags that get upset when phil gets money, just remember this is what he spends it on. after this arc is over, we're gonna see all these bits of cardboard in a closet cleanout stream
Philip Burnell vs. an AI datacenter is like the modern retelling of John Henry, the railroad worker who tried to out-pace a stream drilling machine, except in this case it's who burns money faster.

"So Mr Burnell, I see you have listed 5 palettes full of Pokemon boxes?

"Yes they are business-related and I still own them"
Phil is probably stupid enough to try to claim them on his taxes even though he is opening them off stream. Someone tell him the Mtg marvel set comes out in a week and theres a new thousand dollar wolverine. This faggot will probably buy a 6000$ pallet of collector booster boxes.

Factor in the talk of "store credit"
Tcgplayer store credit is only 5%-10% when they run it so there's absolutely no way he would have had enough for an entire new booster box after only buying two booster boxes before, and I dont think the promotion was even running when he bought the first one.

The "store credit" thing reminds me of when he was blowing money on some gacha game like ten years ago and saying he was just spending gift cards his family gave him. Sure he may have had a random $25 gift card but he used that as an excuse to spend thousands of dollars, just like he used the $20 or however much in tcgplayer store credit he had as an excuse to spend a few hundred more on another booster box.

Its easy to see why this guy went bankrupt.

just for the record: that image was taken from this thread (made by me). those are MY likes (:_(
nah I'm glad it's getting some mileage though. detractor twitter looks fun

suffah, Philip!
Sorry bub, I've updated my post with a link to your original image.

DSP's latest thumbnail. AI muscles. You're not slick.
The Lolcow to AI psychosis pipeline, claims another tard.

And then have 3 streams discussing the pallet itself

If one of his dents tells him about the Marvel set he will probably get super autistic about it and start to buy shit from resellers and we will have streams of him doing pack openings. I for one am glad Phil is broadening his horizons into new costly hobbies.

Confirming that he is buying and opening boxes off stream is so funny.
Its pretty funny when you think about how much he's cucking his whales. They're paying fifty bucks just to see one pack at a time opened, then phil is taking that money to buy himself new booster boxes to open all at once by himself without anyone else getting to see.

Phil has the oddest group of whales on the entire internet that allow this kind of situation to even be possible, its just such a bizarro scenario. Anyone else would be mocked relentlessly for doing something like this, but phil's reputation is such dogshit and he has so little shame that its just another day for darksydephil.

That was Hearthstone IIRC

Honestly, while I think it's more likely he bought that valuable card rather than pulled it, I actually hope he pulled it from a pack because in that case he's completely hooked now and he'll spend an insane amount of money every month on packs only to end up with thousands of cards in various binders or tupperware containers that he'll never end up selling or getting rid of. It's him hoarding gamer statues or movie blu-rays all over again.
Either:
He bought a new box and got high on his own supply. Snorting $1800 worth of product to get a $300 card.
or
He's his own plant in the audience. "Hey Dents, I won! You can win too (by paying me to win again)".

It's glorious either way. His Polymorph: Grifter spell is backfiring already.

Too good. ALWAYS chooses the worst path. There's a reason theyre called "chase cards". Its marketing bullshit to get people hyped to gamble. Except Phil buys the chase card off stream. What the fuck is the audience paying to chase now? Given a marketing path, fucks it all up.

Of course he gets the gayest of addicrions. This market peaked during covid. Young men with disposable income drove up the prices of all collectible cards. Shits been declining since.

The cards are bound for the pile with all the controllers and RGB accessories. So, in effect they are worthless. He doesnt even cherish them. He got all the joy he will ever get when he hit the purchase button.

This is just too good. Keep informing him of the next most valuable card. True affluent men buy and sell sports cards. $300 is POOR, NOLOAD LOSER LEVEL.

Bankruptcy 2 timeline moved up.

This is all why he’s the biggest mark of all-time.

Most people would use a $5 store credit to maybe buy a $20 item on a whim. Which is what the company wants you to do with a random gift card or store credit. They reel you in with a few % of money to get you back into their hands.

Not Phil. Give him $5 and he feels like even buying a $400 item is “basically free”.
See a sponsored article from TCGPlayer about how Pokemon is going to skyrocket and you should buy now from “this link”? Phil believes every word and empties his pockets. His autism, greed, cowardice, addictions and intelligence has been shaped in such a way that he’s the final form of CONSOOMERISM.

And it genuinely couldn’t have been played out any better than this. Fuck you, Phil. You faggot. You deserve this.

Side note: you faggots can stop saying he’s getting resealed boxes. He’s not. Hit rates on these sets are absolute dog shit. Some of you do as much research as the goutlord and sound just as retarded speaking on a subject.

I wanted to sperg out about this also, but yeah there's a lot of misinformation on here. No one is really resealing modern booster boxes, and if they are they would be super easy to notice. The concern would be buying loose packs, those could be resealed but even phil isn't dumb enough to buy random loose packs off the internet. Also you havent been able to reliably weigh english packs in like 20 years so no one is selling phil weighed packs either.

His boxes are fine, he has been getting the normal hit rates. No one is going to risk their tcgplayer account to sell resealed products when they are already making great money scalping. If he's buying from reputable tcgplayer sellers then his stuff is fine, just massively overpriced though.

He's the kind of retard that would buy a whole collector booster pack expecting to get a return all the while knowing nothing about MTG and how it's played.

If he opens MTG stuff, expect him to crash out about the fluctuating price of his big cards
