I suspect this is a whale call and faking tip situation. There's like 3 people that give Phil money. That, or they got all excited about this new thing and they tossed the pennies in their piggy banks at Phil. However with his audience size any days like this will be short lived unless the whales come home for good, hitting the goal just isn't sustainable with 25-50 people watching (optimistically) that actually like his content, and only, what, 10ish people donate at all? He really needed this though, and good for him, maybe he can get some pulls in before the Klarna payment for this gym is due because Lord knows we'll be right back to failing goals by week's end.
Phil is as burnt out on gaming as much as any human in history. That's if he's ever enjoyed gaming in the first place. I'm surprised he didn't fully quit games years ago, but the only reason is because he already massively struggles filling time on his stupid podcast(s).
That's why he desperately wants to do drama. In addition to the fact that he loves it, because it's all about being better than someone else, at least in his eyes. He has a virtually endless well of things to talk about, he gets to feel superior to someone else, and he doesn't have to try to fill time with stories about his busy life sitting in his ahffice and getting groceries once a week.
Q and Beg was a "special treat" like 6 months ago. Now, not only is it daily, there are days that it's the majority of the prestream. Dude doesn't do anything, tf is he gonna talk about?
