Yeah, his little rant about streaming is the chat telling the streamer what to do was wild. It really feels like he believes the chat is there to make things fun for the streamer and not the other way around. He kept saying "this is how other streamers do it!!" and I'm curious to know who he's watching because every other streamer I watch generally has rules about no backseating when they play a game, or at least aren't literally waiting for step by step instructions while they play a game. They fun of watching someone play a game and not playing it yourself is to see how they make decisions and react to things on their own.
The only thing that separates watching a playthrough of somebody playing a game without commentary, likely at a high level with a guide, and watching a playthrough either live/on-demand of somebody playing themselves is that the latter is usually done with curiosity both on the player's side like you said (not knowing what happens) and on the viewers side (not knowing if the player will be able to solve something, wondering how they will solve something, or how long it will take). Phil somehow combines the 2 into a mess of something nobody would want. Not to mention that Phil, even being handheld by his chat or a guide, still sucks at the game.

I have no clue how Phil has missed this. If I'm playing a game for myself to get 100%, sure the guide is telling me what to do, cool. I would never want to watch a friend play a game with a guide. There's no fun in that.

Not to get psych side on this but you can really see Phil literally never had friends growing up, because no friend would want to watch him play like he does, nor would they want to have him bark at them to tell him what to do next. Not to mention you can't laugh when he fails because he'll throw a fit. Phil makes it so obvious that he's been a loser for decades, long before Youtube & the FGC.

If Phail really is bringing back SFVI, I'm looking forward to watching RawPhil crush his fragile ego with Cammy again.
When randos run, Phil oinks and squeals how tough he is
When Piggy one-and-runs his classic L to a Cammy player, he's like "hurr u cheetah'd u fucking whore scrub" like the hypocritical pollack faggot he is.

Pattern play about to be said 200+ times easy on that stream.

I've been watching streamers of every level since it's been a thing and I can't really think of any of them who demand chat tell them every little thing about a game but somehow DSP thinks it's totally normal and everyone does it.

They would just pull up a video of someone going over the basic if they were really really struggling or it was a completely foreign game but DSP refuses to use videos or even google search for anything (quite possibly the only person I've seen who is so against both of those things)

The other issue with it is that he has now dropped multiple games once he "understands how to play" according to him like Megabonk because he no longer needs chat to handhold him so when he doesn't hit a goal in his eyes it's because of the loss of interaction when the goal just isn't hit because his whales don't show up like every other time.

He really is just one of a kind man no other streamer or lolcow does shit like he does and that's why we are all still here.

DesperateSydePhil is back. This is not a drill. How much did Jaxx mortgage to promise to dump on Phil if he went back and played Street Fighter?

I'm imagining JaxxRaxor standing at the car dealership. After years and years of slaving away at his minimum wage job, he has finally saved up enough to purchase a second-hand Kia. He's already taken it for a test-drive and he's standing in the finance office, about to pay for the car he's been dreaming of for all these years. BUT THEN... DSP sends out this tweet. Jaxx looks at his phone, then at the Kia and back at his phone again. He slowly raises his head. He has tears running down his cheeks while he looks at the salesman and says to him, "I'm sorry", and leaves the dealership.

Anyways I hope he actually does play this, Street Fighter 6 probably did more to raise his blood pressure and bring us close to seeing him have a stroke on livestream than any other game.

Fighting games do piss Phil off more than any other genre, but the rage does get repetitive. It's generally the same excuses over and over. Fighting games are more limited in scope than most other genres, so there are only so many ways he can fail at them. I've realized that the appeal of watching Phil fail at fighting games isn't because of the rage, it's because it's gratifying to see an asshole like Phil unhappy.

It astounds me that he doesn't know he should be playing music when hes doing set ups, or legos, or AFK, not when he is fucking talking on his PAHDCAST, it sounds so bad and he has it mixed like a retard, brother literally does everything wrong.

You're here forever, Jaxx! Do ya geddit? Chief?

Just in case anyone was wondering about him shilling his other PayPal account.

And then how someone asked a question about streaming without chat and figuring it out is entertaining to watch (I agree) and Phil replies by saying SHUT UP. The crazy part is after the rant he then says to the chatter who asked the question “if you are going to be negative you’re going to be banned” right so negative according to Phil is just not agreeing with his logic. Fuck a pigroach. Nigger just went live speak of the devil.

The SF6 talk reminded me: he got into his head he needed to 'chill out' after playing too many matches or getting too angry (I think it was advice from a dent that was coaching him lol), so at some point he was taking 5 to 10 minutes breaks between raging at Kens and Cammies, making everyone listen to the menu music while he stared at chat. Training before going into casual into baiting ranked match, doing Story Mode only days lmao, he really had all the ways to make SF6 boring to watch for everyone involved.

Like cockwork. Once you notice some things in life, it's hard not to laugh. Like when I caught that hoe talking to her ex again, i fucked two of our mutual classmates. She even had to do a group project with one of them. God I wish I could cuck pigroach, but I'm happily engaged now. I'm happy, get it!

His SF streams were something else

- tryharding in casual lobbies and going ballistic whenever he got bodied
- using every excuse under the sun to buy the game on three (more?) platforms, together with dlc and enough peripherals to stock an arcade
- gave a massive speech when he reached masters, like he just received the Nobel peace prize

Honorary mentions: KatsFATgunt and every Cammy player

To be fair, I think there is a niche market for "watch a literal retard play games", but as part of that deal you'd expect them to have some humility, to try and play the game themselves before asking for help, and to not try to swindle the audience out of donos like they're a 1800s snake oil salesman. Phil is awful to watch because he's an awful person, and that's what sabotages his content more than anything else.
