Clearly using a guide and at least opening the game up off stream to compare maps or something. If he continues to struggle we might get some OG offstream grinding at this rate.
Oh we really have, he somehow had 50 hours in game Screenshot_20250915_230341_X.webp

Nobody should even give a shit how he plays games. Use a guide if you like fatboy. You're only ruining the experience for the losers who paid to see it. They deserve the shittiest playthroughs imaginable for enabling you and you're doing your best to make sure that's exactly what they get.

I don't think he even cares that this approach sucks what miniscule amount of enjoyment he himself could hope to get out of vidya these days. The only person who really makes phil's life worse is phil himself. He's the alpha deetrackta.

His playthroughs have always been trash but now he tries to minimize any chance of them being unintentionally funny as well. As though the fact he's completely inept is something he's been able to conceal from the world for 40 years and using guides without declaring it keeps his secret hidden from the world.

You don't fool anyone brother. Not even yourself.
He has used guides since the early YouTube days and was caught many times doing so him using guide isn't really the issue tbh it's that he still just fucking stares at chat waiting to be told what to do and can't even follow the guide you know he is using correctly. Imagine knowing what's coming in a game and still taking 2x the time to finish games compared to most people.

An actual raw zero information of a game considered "difficult" hasn't happened in a long time since we know he watches other streamers too. You can bet he has already watched a full Silksong playthrough and many help videos.

He is complaining viewership is down on this stream... yes Phil you standing there staring at chat waiting to be told where to go and knowing everything that happens before it happens isn't exactly going to bring in the viewers man.

Ya I saw that it's so sad lmao he can't even hide shit properly. Keep in mind he only has 10 hours of videos for the game lmao.

I think the fact the game is considered "difficult" forced him to go overboard with the guide reading. There's a high chance he looked at multiple guides and playthroughs before each sessions.

He's definitely playing the game off streams to make it look like he's that great gamer that finishes everything first try. Just like that elden ring boss he bragged about finishing first try.

As usual he's doing that to protect his ego and to damage control the number of TIHYDP and gamer journalist memes.

I like that literally one of the very, very few ways Phil makes an "effort" on his streams is to basically stealth the fact he's reading guides because he's not so good at the game. So he's even lying about putting effort in.

For plenty of other games he will just skip the shit and be done with it, even if your grandma donated $1000, he'd still skip it. But this game is for some reason super important.

That’s 62.4 hours. And only 10 hours posted. Could this be a situation where he left it open and Steam kept the meter running? A 50-hour discrepancy seems extreme.
Yeah he probably leaves it running overnight. Wouldn’t be the first time he amassed an insane hour count because he never turns shit off.

Only issue is that it's not Steam its Gamepass and DSP immediately went to "it's a bug" "game is counting my time wrong" when it was brought up to him. He usually make a big production of closing games and putting his controller on the charger and shit so I'd be surprised if he left it open.

So you're saying that the viewers don't like Silksong?

By the way, I've got something I'd like to share with all of you. I found Phil's theme song.

Is funny he think a guide will help him, no amount of instructions on a guide will help him on the bosses that need high speed maneuvers or you learning aerial combat because the game love to nerf your agility

Im just waiting he reaching Bilewater, that section alone will be like 3 TIHYDP worthy of content

Huh. Feels like de ja vu. Anyway:
You cheated! Not just the game, but yourself!
You didn't grow!
You didn't improve!
You took a snortcut and gained NOTHING phil.
You're experiencing a hollow (knight) victory! Nothing is risked and nothing gained.

Quite frankly it's sad he doesn't know the difference.

I think he's really trying to counter the game journalist/bad gamer stuff with this like he used elden ring

To be honest, gears of war reloaded did keep running after I closed the game. Only played 5 hours of multiplayer but Xbox app shows 2.5 days played. Since silksong is also game pass I could see the same thing happening. 10 hours vs 60 is a huge discrepancy, even if hes playing offstream

It's a "bug" or Kat/someone is playing on Phil's account because there's no way he's playing any game not WWE Champions 5+ hours per day for 11 days since Silksong's release, outside his blue-collar shifts in the office/studio.
Maybe he got drunk as fuck on his day awf and just tried to grind some stuff in the game and passed the fuck out leaving it on lmao. Probably is a bug but it's just funny to see him get defensive about it.

Phils a fucking idiot (We all know this already) who decided that an obstacle enemy is actually a key to a whole area because he refuses to explore one screen over to the left, which is a whole room with paltforming to get him to where he wants to go. Reading guides and still getting lost and confused, shameful

Armored Core 6 is another great example of him using a guide. First stream he almost cried not being able to beat the first boss. I don’t remember if it was the next stream or after a break but he magically knew how to beat it after that. Soon after, he managed to have a brat perfect build for every boss. Still almost rage quit the final level because Phil sucks at execution.

That is ultimately the funniest part… After all the gin and being an internal shut-in, even his brain has checked out where he struggles to follow basic direction to complete a task

It has to be he's leaving the game running in the background. Given how often and long he streams in a single day. He bounces between the games and forgets its running. If he was playing those games for so long; he would actually show improvement. He wouldn't be so fucking frustratingly bad at everything.
