Even Phil being on the phone is hard to believe, he pretty famously avoids any sort of non-email communication whenever possible. IMO, it's either a completely made up story or someone trying to convince themselves a random stranger who vaguely lives around an hour within Phil's stomping grounds is Phil.
Keep in mind, most people thought that one reddit poster was an idiot for saying Phil was with some middle eastern woman in the grocery store. Turns out Kat gained so much weight and had wore so much makeup that she wasn't even recognizable.
Kat could always pass for something exotic with her silly raccoon makeup. And in the muumuu because she gained 200 lbs, which we didn't know about yet, and there you go. Right?

Counterpoint though… for people like DSP and those who think he’s great, they probably think him and Kat have achieved a peak relationship. If you’re dumb enough to like Phil Burnell you’re dumb enough to believe anything.
That and "an hour outside of Renton." That could be anywhere - you go north of Renton, you're in the Marysville/Arlington area, which there is really nothing there except casinos and people that can't afford to live in the Seattle Metro area, along with high levels of meth. You go south, you're in Tacoma/Fort Lewis Army and Ranger base and Phil wouldn't be CAUGHT dead in Tacoma/Fort Lewis area. The locals call Tacoma "Tacompton", as South Tacoma has a reputation in the PNW as being "dangerous", and a high population of residents that belong to the Hilltop Crips/Sureno's. Again, Phil would be biting his nails to the bone, if he was anywhere NEAR there. Again, the Hilltop shootout between the Army Rangers and Crips is still talked about to this day, even though it happened nearly 30 years ago. If you want to find out more, Popo Medic has a great short documentary about the shootout and it's still talked about in the Rangers community to this day. East of Renton, there's Gold Bar. Again, you're looking at tree's and the Paul Bunyon types...So, "an hour outside of Renton.", no. I don't see Phil going ANYWHERE outside of Renton, let alone an HOUR outside of what he's comfortable with.
