His problem is that he's not pursing that to fit in, but to feel better than everybody. You give him the clout he wants, and you'll see him immediately turn into the biggest, smuggest, smirking, cackling asshole you've ever seen him be.

That was one of the earlier ER streams where he was desperately trying to project this false persona of him being a genuine fan of the souls games, someone that plays these games for the challenge and totally not a whiny bitch that reads guides or abuses cheap mechanics to win. In a way it's kind of sad, since he desperately wants to be 'one of the guys' be it a fighting game pro, souls veteran, PC enthusiast etc.

It's definitely an issue that goes back pretty far. Don't think he ever fit in anywhere growing up so he adapted to being some comic book anti-hero and why he likes to feel the need to be some WWE Superstar "heel" in terms of life. The narcissistic main character approach.

The constant narratives of how he could be sponsored, but some outer force prevents him. He could be good at games if he wanted to, but chooses not too. He's a souls veteran but not really in that community or cares. Phil is the little guy who was part of some FGC scene where they didn't want him anymore because he became successful uploading footage makin money, and they got too jealous of him.

He knows hes a shithead, but you can really hear his inner self scream to be apart of anything but he chooses this path where he can feel like the most important dude in the room, screaming at wheelchairs and banning anyone who thinks any less of him. He's the star here and honestly think he likes his position more than being in any form of group with a sense of belonging, and where everyone is equal.

Skyrim Granny doesn't seem to be able to get it through his head that name-dropping us is the worst idea ever, next to drudging up the bank leaks so many months later. I assume that's because we piss him off too much for him to think straight.

I really love it when Phil talks bad about Kiwi Farms. It's utter projection clearly, since he tried to have his own version of Kiwi Farms when he did his faggy trash talking website.

However community wise, if we take Phil's us vs them mindset, we are winning. It's hard finding nicer lads and a better community. People connect, play games together, do ops together, chat, do streams or just banter with inside jokes. We have lads doing fundraisers like local numbers bloke Piece of Peace that raised money for animals, and people like Proper helping out other detractors when they need help.
In this community we can see individuals grow their online presence and real life, and be happy for them. There are several people that get same views as Phil and are growing. You can see mad lads like Proper work hard and buy a banger car. You can't not be happy for them. And when people have bad days or hard times and say so on Twitter you will see detractors from every part try to cheer them up, offer support or well wishes.
Even though we have bitch fits, disagree, argue with each other and call each other faggots we move on from it. Phil only hates this community because we see him for who he is, there is nothing else to it. If we one day decided to suck his little bellend, he would praise us like he praised Tevin when he thought he isn't a detractor anymore.

The fuck has Phil's community done? The fuck kind of sense of community do they even have? The only thing they can talk about is Phil and how to support him. It's a joke. I'm positive if they came here with a different name they would actually find mates and have a good time - for free even.

It indeed cannot be over-stated how different things would be around here, and how Skyrim Granny would feel about it, if he didn't have some serious shit to hide, that got found.
