Crime D4vd Arrested for Murder of Celeste Rivas - Groomer turned baby mama murderer finally gets comeuppance

Singer D4vd has been arrested for the murder of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who was found dead in Hollywood in the trunk of his Tesla in September.

According to the LAPD, D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, was arrested by the Robbery-Homicide Division for the murder of Hernandez and is being held without bail. The case will be presented to the District Attorney’s office on Monday for filing consideration.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed they were investigating a trip the 21-year-old took to the Santa Barbara area sometime during the spring of 2025 following Hernandez’s death. A spokesman for the musician said in September that he was “fully cooperating with authorities,” though as of Nov. 18 NBC Los Angeles reported Burke was no longer cooperating with law enforcement.

Officers were called to a tow yard on Sept. 8 following reports of a foul odor coming from the car, which had been on the property for several days. Police found a dismembered body that had been placed inside of a bag in the front trunk of the vehicle.

The car was registered in Hempstead, Texas to Burke and impounded after being abandoned in the Hollywood Hills, where neighbors complained of a rotting smell. As of Sept. 9, the case was being treated as a death investigation.

Hernandez was reported missing from her home in Lake Elsinore, Calif., last year. She was last seen in April 2024, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. After her body was found, police said that because a manner of death had not been determined.

Shortly after the discovery, Burke quietly canceled his U.S. tour and postponed the promotion of his deluxe album.

40 tb is the size of the entire discovery. This will likely include crime scene photos, lab reports, emails, wiretap recordings, and either transcripts or video of witness testimony.

The iCloud is 8 tb alone, and it is unclear how much of that is CSAM, but since the prosecutors were discussing downloading the entirety of it and putting it on a separate clean computer for defendant's counsel to review, I suspect that the entire 8 tb in the iCloud account is CSAM.

That being said, it's odd that the prosecutors did not opt to charge him with Possession of CSAM, considering they are stating that he had a "significant amount" of it. I guess they could add the charges at a later date, but I strongly suspect that the iCloud files are the main proof for the "continuous sexual abuse" charges.

They said "approximately 40 TB of discovery in this case," so that would likely mean it's just under 40 TB of total discovery, probably 38-39 TB in my opinion) with 8 terabytes of that being from his iCloud account.
So far we know from prosecutors that 1 of 8 terabytes from his iCloud contained "a significant amount of CSAM" (they hadn't downloaded all 8 TB at the time of that statement, but the whole iCloud account is probably filled with CSAM).
"20-30 terabytes of raw data from numerous digital devices." This could be from Ring cameras or security cameras, not just David Burke's but it could include his neighbors (we know for a fact that his neighbors have cameras). I believe it's likely that Uber dashcam could be included since the District Attorney said "On April 23, 2025, Burke invited the victim to his home in Hollywood Hills. Celeste R. arrived at the defendant’s house and was never seen again." This indicates they somehow know that she successfully arrived at his house and the exact date at which she arrived (so either Uber or other ride-sharing dashcam, or that was established based on her cell phone location data).
Guaranteed that laptops and PCs are included as well (Whatever devices he used for streaming) as well as data on his phone and tablet other than the iCloud account.
There's a chance they included Twitch stream VODs from when he would collaborate with other streamers, appearing on their channels, as well as any footage from when he would publicly perform his nigger music (This would serve to negate any alibi he attempts to establish to get away with this).
Yesterday prosecutors mentioned a wiretap and transcripts of a grand jury testimony. The autopsy report I previously posted is also included in that 40 TB of discovery, but that's obviously a tiny file size.
Teslas also have cameras, so that could be included given that her remains were found in a Tesla registered to him. At the very least, the Tesla's location data would be included because Teslas save a history of their location data, establishing the car's whereabouts, helping to establish the timeline of his crimes.
Any evidence others have such as people hanging around David Burke and/or Celeste while taking selfies or videos could be included (likely given that he was considered famous).
Text messages, Discord logs, and other instant messaging platforms such as Instagram could be included as well.
