Even if someone decrypts and leaks it, it's still probably going to play like a hot mess until that day one patch gets installed... Unless it still plays like a hot mess after the day one patch.

I may be of the unpopular opinion, but I really hate those health bars and floating numbers. It's such a redundant UI addition because if my enemies health bar is going down way too slow, then my weapon is probably too low of level and I should upgrade. And I'm really hoping this isn't a level scaled game like I'm fearing it probably will be (it won't ruin the game for me because it's nothing major, but it would be kind of immersion breaking). Thankfully most games give me the option to turn off the floating numbers and health bars so I might as well.

At this point, Cyberpunk 2077 just has to be better than Watch Dogs: Legion and I will then be optimistic about its release in December.

I don't know what anyone was expecting the animations to be like. Witcher's cutscene animations all sucked, it was kind of hilarious.

I do wonder if the lack of pedestrians is because it's the console version, or if it's really that shallow. That 2018 gameplay demo is going to haunt them forever.

I've given up on buying games early. For triple AAA games especially, I try to wait a week after release to get it that way I can see reviews and gameplay footage.

I pre-ordered it a long time ago because I loved the setting, table top, And CDR weren't shit bags. $60 isn't exactly a whole lot to me so I didn't really think twice about it. But yea, not going to reward mediocrity.

I'll still play it. I have more faith in CDPR than I do bioware, ea, Bethesda, Microsoft, etc.

Boy do they love those exterior shots, I don't blame em. The game looks like a flashier GTA 5 once the camera gets close to anything.
And by covering up the poor animations they've showcased how last gen the game looks up close. Outside of the scripted cutscenes the models look bad and the textures are not very 'next gen' at all. If it had third person this wouldn't be as obvious. This could just be the One X being underpowered but the Series X footage doesn't look that much better,
Really struggling to see a positive with this game. It reminds me of some generic ubisoft game with a more original setting. Hell, it falls short of those in some respects.
