Looks cursed, but it really isn't. Back in the Victorian era photographies required people to keep still for some minutes, and with babies this was difficutl - so mothers hidden themselves as drapes/chairs in order to hold the baby still and comfortable. If you see a baby pic from this era without the looming figure behind, it most likely is a postmorten portrait - a photo of a dead baby, that naturally doesn't need the mother holding them.

From Harry Harlow's infamous maternal deprivation experiments

I think the justifications for these were garbage--no one needed to "prove" that keeping a baby away from it's mother would cause distress and psychological/emotional problems, he was just a sadistic piece of shit

The second stage is also terrible. He brought in a replacement "mother" dummy. The babies would cling to the furry dummy, but would go to the wire dummy with a milk bottle attached only for feeding. This was to "prove" the babies wanted comfort more than food. It's really sad, I want to hug the monke. :(

I actually bring up Harry Harlowe and the Maternal Deprivation experiments along with a couple of others whenever I have to make my argument for science being inherently morally bankrupt and a terrible thing to have make up the core of your moral beliefs.

This is one of the most sad things I have seen in awhile. It's so sad and disturbing some one would do this.

Extremely based.

Scientists: "I am going to torture mice but it's ok, it is for heckin le ebin science"

A bit late, but there was a case where scientists overdosed an elephant on lsd and it went on a rampage before dying. The overdose was caused by thinking that metabolism was a linear relationship to body size. What's sad is that people already found out that metabolism is an allometric relationship. There was no reason for them to do that.

Behind the scenes making of the Covid-19 Pandemic. This is the opening ceremony to the 7th CISM Military World Games. Once you see the symbolism, it makes sense. October 18, 2019.

Can't be complete without the UN Symbolism.

You think that's bad, then you haven't seen the Covid 19 Plandemic symbolism from the 2012 Europe Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony. They have nurses running around and a giant light sculpture thing that looks like the Corona virus cell. It sounds ridiculous but it is there if you see it.

Just wanted to say that. These ceremonies are always full of weird symbolism, but the 2012 Olympic opening really stands out. Lots of medical symbolism and a grim reaper like figure hovering over the nurses and hospital beds. If that one happened in 2019 I would absolutely believe that it was made by the "elites" to mock us about the coming plandemic.
