The story is that she started getting plastic surgery to look like Angelina Jolie, similar to Octomom but with a heavy dose of body dysmorphia and anorexia. Over the years it just became worse and worse.

The media picked up and revisited this story every year or so but it eventually became so bizarre that few could believe it. And it was a hoax, the girl/woman did have a couple of lesser plastic surgeries and posted about those on the internet, then started photoshopping herself to look more bizarre and then prostetics became involved. I think she said that she saw it as an art piece. It's about as weird as Rubber Johnny and things like that.
