The Wikipedia article says such a thing exists, but I have to wonder how that even works. The DE is a gas-operated pistol as opposed to the recoil-operated as most .45 ACPs are, so you wonder how it even moves that heavy slide back. In any case, .45 hasn't been the big legendary "hand cannon" caliber in pop culture since the Dirty Harry came around in the 70's. Also would have to be really uncommon, I've only seen DE's in .44, .357 and .50 in the wild.

Wouldn't be the first time Hollywood got something hilariously wrong about guns (today).
