All sperging aside regarding whether or not it was glowies or if the official narrative is true, one thing is for sure: how much this tragedy was quickly forgotten and never brought up again. Other infamous mass killings and terror attacks have gone down in history, with their names or dates being synonymous with the tragic events. When you hear the name "Columbine", you obviously think of the school shooting rather than the school itself. The same goes for Sandy Hook and Parkland. You can make similar comparisons to places like Waco and Ruby Ridge, or hell, Pulse Nightclub.

The Las Vegas shooting completely dwarfed most of those shootings and disasters just by sheer body count. And yet, it almost never comes up in gun debates, and the only time anyone ever really talks about it is in conspiracy theory circles. You'd really think a disastrous mass killing of this extreme magnitude would still be brought up today and discussed more often, and that it would have galvanized the anti-gun lobby more.

Again, whether or not the official narrative is true is irrelevant here. What matters is how odd it is for the whole tragedy to just be swept away. Look at the Parkland shooting for comparison: it spawned a whole generation of anti-gun activists, and to this very day its survivors made a name for themselves in the public conscience. Parkland's killer also went down in infamy, for better or for worse. Meanwhile the Las Vegas shooting didn't even put a dent into gun debate.

It just feels off.

I always thought the Vegas shooting was downplayed/ignored by the media because the victims were at a Jason Aldean country music concert (AKA chud right-wing white-male NAHT-SEES!!!). Honestly, internet "libtards" secretly admire the high score, but can't say anything about it without compromising their anti-gun platform.

As someone whose family is filled with a lot of both successful and unsuccessful criminals, there's an unspoken agreement to never take one of these. Not because of some sort of contrived family honor thing, but because the idea of being on television in any capacity, good or bad is deeply mortifying to all of us with the exception of some deeply mentally ill outliers.

At the point when they were already eating human corpses, why would anyone exchange other meat for them?
Most likely they were exchanging corpses of people they knew, for some they did not personally know, like in Holodomor Ukraine.
I looked up some of the photos from Volga famine, more than selling body parts displayed like on a market, it's likely the police or military had raided someone's house, threw whatever they found outside and made the family pose the way both the evidence and all suspects fit in one photo. The exchange would look like they'd shove a covered body through a back door in the night and receive a different one.
