Cracked used to have interesting articles like the 5 executioners who got the highest kill count and shit like that. Then for some reason it switched to like, '5 reasons why all men are rapists'.

The thing is that the SJW market is functionally non-exisistant. People think its HUGE thanks to Social Media because they are prevalent and vocal. The problem is that they are prevalent because many social media platforms, especially Twitter, bans you for wrong-think. So you think you have this huge, massive audience waiting for you and all of a sudden its basically a handful of people who are simply re-tweeting your article to virtue signal yet never clicking any links.

The whole ideology is a creatively bankrupt failure cascade.Their news outlets? Failed. Influence in gaming? Failed. Their books? Failed. Their comics? Failed. Their movies? Failed. Their televsion shows? Failed.

Why do you think they rail so hard against sexy women and videogames and shit like that? Because they can't compete, so they have to shame everyone to try to. And even when they manage to do this, they still fail.
 
One of my favorite recent articles that really tells you how far they've fallen is the one where they "destroy the alt-right's biggest insult". Of course they mean the word cuck, and they "destroy" it by defending cuckoldry as a legit thing that's not at all shameful or bad.

Also, calling someone a beta is somehow rendered meaningless because new research has disproved the existence of alpha wolves in wolf packs in the wild. Well, consider me owned, I guess.

Because I know when I call Cracked writers a bunch of beta cucks, I'm totally thinking of sex fetishes and the social hierarchy of wolves.

I still like After Hours, though at some point they tried to bring in an SJW-ish cast of other people, but I think everyone hated them, I don't remember.

I remember watching the first couple seasons of Agents of Cracked with Michael Swaim & Dan O'Brien and found the show to be pretty competent and funny at times. Michael Swaim's "Cracked TV" and "Does Not Compute" were also pretty enjoyable, though DNC started getting a little too tryhardy with comedy toward the end. Cody Johnston also put together some pretty amusing videos that were entertaining in a weird Tim & Eric sort of way, like the "Game Helpin' Squad" series. This video he did about the final season of Lost on DVD was hilarious to me 7 years ago, though I can't seem to get the fucking video to play on the page because Cracked's website sucks.

And I can't bring up Cracked's videos without this one also from Michael Swaim. For a one-off gag, back when the "fucking magnets" meme was in full swing, he made this Glade plug-in air freshener commercial using clips of the Insane Clown Posse.


Swaim actually voluntarily left the company a few months ago, so because he didn't get laid off he didn't receive anything in the way of severance. I find that kind of shitty because he was basically the only reason Cracked.com was even funny before Seanbaby showed up.
 
Cracked.com used to be part of my morning routine. It was just part of what I did almost completely on autopilot when I wasn't trying to do something productive.

I can't remember exactly what article finally made me check out, but I think it was something about misogyny in video games. I remember starting to read it super interested because I assumed it was going to be real information, then about halfway through it was blah blah something Link from Zelda is a rapist and the second amendment is bad and men are trying to get you alone to rape you and everything is bad and always will be as long as there are white people, and I realized I was no longer reading a quirky comedy site.

It's the bait and switch that really bothers me the most. I might actually read your article about The 9 Ways White People Are Evil (#5 is you have clean water and some folks don't!) if it's on a site that at least makes it clear that that's what I'm getting into. But hooking me with "The 7 Scariest Moments In Nintendo Games" and having each point be about how you shouldn't vote conservative is just insulting.
 
One of the things that started irritating me was the fact that even in their bizarre facts lists, or informative articles, they always just had to put in little jabs and men, white people, etc and most recently Trump.

Like I'd be reading an article about let's say, raccoons.

Hey speaking of Cracked and misogyny, back in the day didn't they used to have a running gag for literal years that was just a picture of boobs? Like, no context or snarky quip, the boobs themselves were the punchline.
