Holy fucking shit, do they not realize why it was Gren got tits to begin with? He was a soldier wrongfully imprisoned for espionage (because of Vicious) and had been given experimental drugs while there. Most of the men who were given those drugs ended up killing themselves. His body dysphoria is not because he was a soyfaggot enbie alien who needed some validation for his boring life.

This is rape of the source material, and there's no way Sunrise would be accepting of it.

Cowboy Bebop could have made for a GREAT live action adaptation too.

Haven't you heard? Men with gynecomastia aren't real men anymore. They have breast tissue due to reasons wholly out of their control, they can't be men! They must be some in-between freak! Nevermind that this just validates the very real worries, insecurities, and fears that men suffering from the same medical condition in real life have, we can use this to give genderspecials a pat on the ass!
 
Everyone should curb any form of enthusiasm from any live action anime/manga that is adapted over here.

Stocky SEA polynesian mix or something iirc. But tbf there's not many tan half-alien half-noodle child actors so tweaking the concept is understandable.
 
Almost every reboot in recent times seems to be made by and feature people who are only making it out of spite, and often go out of their way to insult fans of the original at every step of production. Now we have an actor already insulting the fans and the show isn’t even out yet. Man this is gonna be a trainwreck. It will probably run for awhile when it does come out as the Netflix people don’t like to take Ls, they keep unprofitable shows going as long as possible to avoid making it obvious they messed up.

Is Ed even part of the cast? I haven't heard a word about Ed, which is legit surprising. Ed's free spirited personality and genius skills in computer tech combined with her prepubescent androgynous body make her the perfect candidate to turn her into a strong womyn nonbinary in tech. I'm not saying they should (because they really fucking shouldn't), it's just surprising that she's missing entirely.
