Okay I did look at critic ratings which are here and based on the reviews by critics, the show is just trying to copy the original and most of the critics agreed the only good parts were the main three actors (mostly John Cho) but everything else is shit.

Like I'm not surprised by the show just being a retread of the anime, the actors thing surprised me but I think that's just them being nice and even if the acting is good or bad, that is more on the director since they are responsible for an actor's performance.

But holy shit this show literally is just as expected but can't wait for people to defend this trash.

If you're gonna remake shit only to copy it basically word for word then I have to ask why the fuck remake it in the first place? Honestly I'd somewhat prefer a shit but original take on the concept instead to a degree. Sure nobody wants a SJW politically correct version of any fucking anime, but at least it's a different and it can appeal to a new audience, and can be fun to shit on if you already are a fan of the original. What sort of reason is someone gonna have to watch this new version of Cowboy Bebop if it's basically a scene for scene remake? The answer for most is gonna be none, especially if it's literally just a direct adaptation of a older show that you can also watch on the same motherfucking platform.

I don't feel a thing... and I stop remembering...

The days are just like moments turned to hours...

Mother used to say
If you want, you'll find a way
But mother never danced through fire shower...

So basically this is just a cash grab for people to show how much of a Westaboo they really are for having to copy the style of a 90’s anime that does not work in current day?

Despite having them in the same pose as the original, there's something more interestingly dynamic about how the animated series went about framing this shot. Yeah, they're in front of the stained glass window, but the shots tell a different story. One shows just how trapped the two of them are together in a life-or-death situation as light streams in through on them both, but Vicious' face is the one that's illuminated, looking like an avenger angel Spike is rebelling against. The other goes "Hey, see how cool this is that they're silhouetted against the stained glass window and there's plenty of room for the two of them to escape, but they need to give each other the death glare so they have to pause like this for dramatic effect. No, you're not allowed to see their faces to know what they're thinking."
John Cho literally looks like he's struggling to keep up like the old man he is. Spike up there looks like even though he's on the defensive, he can still hold his own.

The critics have to be nice to them because of the nonsensical "actors harassed by trolls" narrative that every shill and Netflix dick sucker is running with to cover the bad press.
That would make sense since using the actors as a shield is a deflection from a bad product

This is just a cash grab for stupid people and those who didn't find Cowboy Bebop "quippy" enough

I still hate the constant argument Twitter retards have when people critique this show that they just want a one for one remake despite the fact many anime fans hate the existence of live action remakes and people accepting of this wanted it to be good with the same spirit of the original (which is important when adapting a story), they didn’t want a soulless remake that appeals to the MCU crowd.

I've been trying to find really detailed spoilers of the 1st season, but I can't find squat yet.
All I know in specifics based on the reviews are:

>Show literally just adapts episodes in the original
>Action scenes suck
>Parts where it delves into the characters pasts suck

and there are a lot of complaints about the humor and the show is compared to Doctor Who or the MCU by critics.

The 2010s and later have been absolutely cursed for this stuff.
Imagine prior to all this telling Star Wars, He-Man, Thundercats, Cowboy Bebop, Discworld or LotR fans their beloved franchises would finally get some new material but it's made by people that seem to hold actual disdain for the originals.

Have they started the "you're a bigot" if you dislike it stuff yet?

To be fair is Cowboy Bebop new content? It’s just another shitty live action adaptation that have always existed since anime became popular.
