my boy shinji out there in shitty live action land getting lucky

Nnnnnn I'm done with what they did to Gren.
Just bc a man dresses as a woman it doesn't mean hes on a binary. If a women dressed like he does in the show she'd be called a whore.
Ugly faggot.

I'm laughing at how terrible this is going to be.

Kumar saps any possible charisma from that. The black dude is the least objectionable of the trio.

For once the diversity selection looks like the only one who belongs there. They even messed that up! I hope he robs them both in the first episode and leaves them bleeding out in a ditch. And then go on like nothing happened. "Oh. They on vacation. *picks teeth with toothpick*" That could save the show.

I hate it. I hate everything about it. And, with every "preview" or "teaser" Netflix releases, the more I hate it.

1. Cho's performance suuuuuucks. He acts bad, and he should feel bad. He just plain sucks. I don't know how else I can put it. He is incapable of carrying the show as the lead. Huge miscast, and bad acting altogether.

2. They're actually pulling a J.J. Abrams with this shit, aren't they? They're shitting on the anime while ripping off iconic scenes and imagery from the anime (and looking incredibly cheap and creatively bankrupt in the process).

3. Apparently Faye is now Spike's equal in hand-to-hand combat? MISS ME WITH THAT BULLSHIT. If this were the anime (the REAL show), Spike would annihilate Faye, and we all know it. If they're determined to have them duke things out, then at least make it either a gun fight or an aerial battle between the Swordfish II and the Redtail.

4. MCU humor does not belong in Cowboy Bebop. Point blank period.

5. Jet appears to be the second least offensive thing about this dumpster fire.

6. The least offensive thing about this dumpster fire is the doggie. Ein ... You're doing great, sweetie. This mess isn't your fault.

oh my god it does! I couldn’t figure out why I was bother by it, but this explains it! it looks like an badly adapted 90s show done by dic or some shit. Also, can someone please explain to me why Fay’s outfit was change because sexism, but netflix adding in a bit with spike wanting kill Faye because she’s annoying Isn’t sexism. Because it smells like hypocrisy to me…

Jlongbone is right about the shitty cinematography. The show looks cheap.

Now. Given how cheap the show looks and given how the dialogue is so cringey and try-hard ...

If people told me that Kevin Smith had a hand in making this show prior to my knowledge, I would have 100% believed them after seeing this trailer.

They showed shots of Faye in a sexy dress so I think her outfit was changed to make her a generic action girl more than anything

You know jet's is actually the least bad of the main three.decent casting for jet at least based on what's shown so far.

Is this one of the worst source material to adaption ratios of all time? Cowboy Bebop is literally one of the greatest anime TV series ever made, this is so not worthy of sharing the name, it's like if Lord of The Rings was adapted with the budget and style of Xena: Warrior Princess.

There's something that adds insult to injury with the fact that this is happening exactly 20 years after the first Adult Swim airing, like please, take me back.

I guess the original anime being on Netflix means Adult Swim is no longer airing it? Something about that doesn't sit right with me, when was the last time they aired it?

Look, it's going to be very bad, right? Good. There's no way to adapt it correctly, no one should have tried. I look forward to something cheap looking, cringey and (hopefully) fun. I'm even more excited to watch youtubers like Jlongbone systematically take it apart. Then I'll burn some sage, order some bell peppers and beef, binge the originals and forget about the forgettable. Cycle of life.

Netflix is doing what that one Cartoon Network intern did and scribbled a shitty sketch over the person who did the original character designs.
