She used it a lot, it was part of her facade as a femme fatale (Though I like she is a deconstruction of the archtype as wel, see my rant a few pages back).

I find Bebop to be one of the more grounded shows. Despite taking place in space, space itself isn't the setting so much as Tijuana or back alleys or bars are. It's really more like a Film Noir series, so it's definitely possible to make a faithful adaptation as the fan film Basketball Jones pointed out proves.
Far better than I initially thought. Having to use digital cameras instead of film stock kinda hurts it, but other than that it succeeds at its goal.

I think a lot of these controversies could be avoided if creators didn't feel the need to "clap back" at people skeptical of what their making.

The fact that I now have to defend the fictional Faye Valentine over some actress who is clearly not bothered by the constructive criticism regarding her outfit is just proof that Clown World™ is making me think that anime women are far more superior than real women.

And all the actress had to do was keep her mouth shut and let the work stand (probably not) on its own. Now, I'm thinking, "Wow. You didn't need to be a cunt over this."
Her breasts ARE AN ESSENTIAL ASPECT YOU DOLT!!! Not to be ogled at (though there is that appeal), but because its apart of her character.
Seduction is a CORE strategy on getting the job done. She spends tons of time, energy and money to make her self looks sexier to seduce her targets. She dresses in a way to make her tits look huge to get her targets to lust after her.
Its not just there for nerds to jerk off to, its a core part of who the character is and any proper adaptation would recognize this. Fucking morons.
