Understanding the world a tism at a time

I think there is a real porn to troon/cuck/(fem)incel pipeline out there, especially because a lot of hardcore coomers surround themselves with similar people and encourage each other to get into deeper and deeper shit after they get desensitised.

So a crazy thought came to my mind: in a hypothetical world where porn reflected healthy behaviours, like loving and monogamous relationships, would those effects be lessened, if not become positive?

this is the most stupid thread ever, I accept the tism reactions

Pornography is pornography because it only depicts the most base and animalistic parts of human sexual behavior. It can't be pornography (at least not in its entirety) if the actual focus is on other things

Porn leads to you into a more and more degenerate path. Nothing good comes from prolonged exposure so if you're a coomer and gooner find a hobby or Jesus before it's too late.

This made me think of two questions.
1. Would those visual novels with sex scenes fit in the pornography category? If not fully, then would they partially fit it?
2. Is a work of partial pornography equivalent to a work that is pornographic in its entirety? As in, is it a meaningful enough distinction to warrant they be judged differently?

A lot of them do, as the amount of sex scenes that they have are (in most cases)
few and far between. Basically all of TYPE-MOON's early works were like that, for example, and had their sex scenes removed for their remakes/re-releases. Thus, I would say that they weren't purely pornographic works, despite having pornographic content.

Legally, they were judged differently. That's why in countries like the US, films that included sex scenes had to have them be determined to be "artistically significant" for the whole film not to be classified as pornographic. Due to the normalization of pornography in the last decades, this is not done anymore.

I would say that, if a work is meaningfully changed by the removal of said pornographic elements, and said pornographic elements exist with the sole purpouse of creating sexual arousal for the viewer, that work is pornographic in nature.

For example, mangas like Berserk include large amounts of rather graphic sex scenes, but I wouldn't classify it as pornographic, the same could be said for NGE, where nudity within sexual subtext is shown, but where it doesn't reach the category of being erotic or pornographic

Good thing that young kids aren't exposed to pornography in a regular basis
That is the really fucky part, if adults can get too caught up on it, for minors its even worse.
I hate a classmate in highschool who was such a porn addict he saw no appeal in kissing women, only straight up sex.
I am not one to repeat feminist talking points, but he had a bit of that Tate-stench.

I remeber that Null (the website's owner and host), read a news story on his stream about how australian 12yo girls were having rectal problems due to partaking in anal sex with boys of their class. The mental and physical damage that pornography does to young people cannot be understated

Jesus Christ. I admit I was (and still am) fairly naive, and while not prudish, I have some clear boundaries on "unnatural" behaviour. That is to say, stuff like anal and all kinds of fetish shit grossed me out. I have a strict view of relationships, the appropriate time for things and what not.
That, and a huge issue of thinking that, because I would never that go to an specific extreme, others also wouldn't.
I guess for whatever worst case scenario I could think up, I have to make a prediction ten times worse to actually match reality.

I had 2 classmates watching porn during classes. Completely coomed brain.

Porn can lead to good behavior only in this minor scenario - when someone has had enough of consuming it and begun to exert discipline over their impulses. It can be certain at that point in life that the person in question is much wiser about the damaging effects, and has the willpower to cease perusing it any further.

Rape went down as porn consumption went up.

But correlation isn't causation.
Incredible. It's a self-cucking move. Instead of procreating with the member of opposite sex, you are watching someone else doing it. No wonder youths are so alone and so gone.
You're never going to procreate, porn or no porn.
