You know very well what that word means.

Última edición:
Most of the Cookies that go by "they/them" in English are either children (like Strawberry Crepe in this image, but also Poison Mushroom, Peppermint, Snow Sugar), can transform into/are animals (Sherbet Shark, Squid Ink, Cream Ferret, all of the dragons), aren't fully Cookies (Candy Diver is dead, Doughael pretty sure was remade) or were mentioned by that pronoun once and the fandom forced for it to be permanent (Cinnamon and Cream Unicorn). So I don't wanna imply anything but.

I heard the company isn't doing so well right now.

It doesn't surprise me much, since when they released Ovensmash, it was a disaster, and their other games (except Kingdom) aren't doing well either.

A ton of people are mad at the Discord server right now because the mods banned queer ships on the first day of pride.

. Allowed creeps, groomers, and abusers to stay in the server multiple times
. Silenced victims from speaking up multiple times
. Didn’t ban someone who was making cancer jokes
. Silencing people who spoke up against the mods
. Banned a victim because their abuser was apart of the mod team
. Didn’t ban a Zionist
. Didn’t ban someone using Ai until multiple complaint
. Didn’t ban a doxxer and said to only ping for emergencies
. Randomly added a hidden rule that got tons of people banned

I got all of these claims from this short:

I wish this wasn't the "big" CRK drama.

Like yes, this is basically what happens when you coddle a fanbase by catering to all their demands (all the they/them Cookies, having a black "enbie" voice Unicorn Cream in English, the Pride Month posts); but the English server's history of ignoring and (sometimes) deleting crucial feedback for the game because DevSis doesn't actually listen to the English playerbase in a way that matters is worse for their image.

DevSis has been shooting themselves in the foot ever since the Dark Enchantress War chapters, with each new decision contributing to them bleeding more and more money because the playerbase is actively quitting in response. Here's a few of those that come to mind:
  • Negative optimization (which has always been the case for this game) resulting in a good percentage of iOS users being unable to access the game. This game is almost 10GB in size currently and they add around 300MB to 600MB per update.
  • Everything they've done with Timekeeper Cookie (the new ascension system for Legendries starting with her, her not being featured in the normal gacha on release like every other Legendary, making her mandatory if you wanna progress the story even in the easiest difficulty because of how they coded a particular boss).
  • Two collabs that have bombed (Wicked and Kpop Demon Hunters).
  • Plans to get rid of the French localization (and I wouldn't be surprised if the Spanish localization were to be next) to save costs.
  • Sacrificing budget in other games (Witch's Castle saw its Legendary Cookies rushed out in hopes of pushing people to spend money on the game, to give an example) so they can funnel it to CRK instead.
  • Them still having plans to release/develop more games in spite of Ovensmash bombing on release.
It's not surprising they're in financial risk to the point that many people assume they're, or are going to go, bankrupt. This company is like 15 year old at this point and yet they're speeding up their own demise. It's very impressive really.

Apparently Tencent, who handles the Chinese CRK port, has traced a Pinterest edit to make a Chinese-exclusive costume for Black Sapphire Cookie? They're Chinese hacks so it's expected at this point, but tracing all the hair highlights is funny to me.

Sorry, I should have explained more.

Crk did a collab with a card company and they did human versions of the 6 virtues or whatever they are but people were upset that Dark Cacao cookie was not drawn as "dark" as his in game color.

It's restarted the "they are whitewashing the cookies!" debate as usual. Notwithstanding that Dark Cacao is literally Chinese inspired and would be light to begin with.
