Combine that with the crying cactus message and very public, shameful, unfunny harassment Chris gets from people like Hirtes. Sounds like a perfect storm of pity. It is possible all these things combined and convinced Jessica to just give Chris a pick-me-up.

Likely or not, it would be pretty funny if Hirtes was indirectly responsible for getting Chris even a pretend girlfriend, a shining example of how inept, obsessive trolling can backfire in hilarious ways.

I'm starting to see a clear split where older users who have been through Panda, Ivy, Kacey, Jackie and Catherine, have next to zero interest in this Jessica situation, which promises to be nothing new and is the same simulation played out again and newer users, who are excited to see their first 'sweetheart saga,' play out who feel the exact opposite way.

I'm not even criticising either view point, I just understand it's harder to care when you've seen these 'sagas,' play out before and the next one promises to end no differently to the last.

I dunno..I feel like the people saying "she must be a troll, no one would date Chris" have never known mentally ill women..I mean some people don't act logically...

For me I'm torn. Jessica's account shows 2-3 years of posting selfies to get compliments from men (not just Chris - many other male friends), no other activity like status updates or posts, and you can't see on her page how many other people she talks to on their pages (like we know she does with Chris).

I'm leaning toward believing her being a lonely, attention loving woman who has a longing for someone to feel sorry for and take care of, and a wish to try gay/trans people after being hurt by men, and Chris fits the bill.

And really, think about it -how much does someone who isn't into the story know about Chris from scanning the info? She probably knows the main beats like his various attacks on store staff and the fact he was tricked into making sex videos. But she may not have the deep understanding we have as fans, of just how...selfish he can be.

However some of it is just too perfect - her saying she loves Sonichu art and excusing the Doopie stalking is just too much what Chris wants to hear, which leans me toward...I don't think she's a troll. I think she is well intentioned. But maybe getting lost in a game of stringing Chris along to make him happy.

Could very well be that case. If she starts to show off her "power" even more and actually start to change Chris (though that's fucking unlikely) by policing his thoughts and making him act in a way, it COULD actually get him out of the downward spiral that is his life.

Well first of all, Chris likes to portray himself in a smug way, as having grown and matured. According to him, he's gotten smarter and sees right through the trolls schemes. That balloon is a fun one to puncture.

Secondly, sometimes the classics just work. Benny Hill is funny exactly cause he's a horny old guy who never changes. Mr Bean is a lovable idiot that never gets any better, in the same vein that Chris is a (hardly lovable, but basically harmless) idiot who always steps on the exact same proverbial rake, no matter how many times he did it before, and swears he's learned his lesson.

And personally I think there's a dark comedic value by itself, in the fact that Chris always makes the same mistakes, because he refuses to change in any way. And it only gets funnier by the fact that this time it must be a real sweetheart.

Now mind you, Im not 100% sure it is a troll, and if it is, I'm not claiming that it's the greatest troll ever.

But I think it's amusing, even if it has been done before.
