I didn't mask it out of embarrassment! I'm proud to be Canadian, I masked it because it could be considered a spoiler to the puzzle, as it implies a Canadian wouldn't know blue, thus it must be unrelated to them.

I'll bet most people lumped one of the purples into the blue category, which I initially thought since I have no idea what Moonlight is, but know that Connections authors like to use prefixes with common words as a ploy, so keeping that in mind we were able to pull off a nice result.

I prefer things you bring to the beach for blue but I suppose tee is sorta a stretch. I also thought purple was the easiest category, I have no idea how they ascertain difficulty.
