We all have songs/bands we hate to admit we like for whatever reason.

I kinda like Death Cab for Cutie, even though they're definitely gay soyboy music (See their contributions to the Twilight movies soundtracks).

So confess your bad taste. I promise not to tell anyone.

I like a lot of pop music like Madonna, Cher, Lady Gaga, Paula Abdul, Spice Girls, etcetera etcetera.

Not really embarrassed by my tastes now that I'm an old man and could give two shits about what people think, but it was my darkest secret when I was a metalhead teenager and had to act like all I listened to was Napalm Death or Exodus.

Not into Taylor Swift though. That is some bland as fuck shit that I can't wrap my head around and I went into her with my usual open mind way of enjoying music.
 
All the music that I like is awesome, but it's possible that I hate a small amount of good music, which could be construed as a sin. I don't think I ever sat all the way through a David Bowie album, he's supposed to be pretty good right? And Frank Zappa, he must be very talented to have made so many annoying sounds spanning countless genres.

I unironically love Limp Bizkit, they're a great band.
Bet you never heard these tracks and you would never think it's LB if you heard it randomly.

They have some good songs for when you want to wallow.

My sin is that after all this time I finally 'got' Taylor Swift. I really like her new album. Still dislike her earlier work but I can't deny this new one is good. I also like Fletcher's music and voice, even though she is cringely trying to portray herself as a vapid bi skank.
 
I'm not ashamed of it but I guess in the public eye it is sinful to like Rick Astley and Nickelback. Rick in particular just gets better the older he gets, fucked up I say.
 
Corny power metal always puts a smile on my face, but I've never known if it's meant to be serious or not and at this point i'm afraid to find out.

Everything about it is so cheesy the lyrics, the band names, the album art, but i love it (in small doses)
 
I enjoy a few Linkin Park songs.

I sort of liked her when she was more country. It was still the blandest country, which today is mostly just pop with a slight southern sound, but at least it had some tiny amount of authenticity, unlike anything she's done since, maybe "Shake it off".
 
"College Rock" / Alternative Pop Rock such as Teenage Dirtbag, Jessie's Girl, and Closing Time. It's so cheesy and nerdy, and yet, it's so catchy that I can't turn it off.

As for any other genre, I have a soft spot for "Emo" or it's more accurate term, "Post Hardcore." I used to listen to a bunch of it in my youth so whenever it pops up in a mix such as "Bulls in the Bronx" by Pierce the Veil, "If You Can't Hang" by Sleeping with Sirens, or "I Fucking Hate Everything About You" by Three Days Grace; I can't hate it.

For reference, I have both a Weezer and an MCR poster hanging on my wall, so of course this will be my more unflattering taste.
