Further investigation reveals that Cherie lied and the lawsuit is not in any way related to Kiwi Farms. Instead, it's related to an incident of human trafficking that took place in Shady Lane Adult Motel that Cherie's mother was operating.
While Shady Lane staff and owner were not participating in the incident, the victim alleges they were aware of it and refused to take any action.

Adam has also revealed more information about his Japanese career plans in his streams this month. He's going to be doing "conversation training" at an eikaiwa school (English conversation school), and plans to keep selling insurance despite the 13 hour time difference. He's only contracted to work at the eikaiwa for 1 year, and he's hoping to find another job after that.
The eikaiwa position will pay him ~$20,000/yr, and he plans to "stop eating out as much" to save money. He quit an $80,000/yr position at AT&T for this.
