Pros:
pre-emptive multitasking, hardware graphics acceleration, fully GUI and CLI, plug and play expansion, flat shared memory setup, open software environment, bare metal programming capability, professional grade features for those who wanted them, pure technology elegance made for nerds by nerds

Sorry, I don't trust that dirty, conniving, penny-pinching Jew Jack Tramiel, so both the Commodore Amiga and Atari ST are tainted in my eyes.
Tramiel was that huge of a retard faggot that he lost the opportunity to own the Amiga... twice.

Tramiel was a bullet-headed hard-nosed two-fisted no-bullshit WATC Brooklyn legend who got out-jewed by pajeets. They did my nigga dirty.

Motherfucker looked just like The Thing (Kirby not Carpenter).
My fav example of his ubashed jewishness is when he told Germany to just give him a free factory because muh Holocaust.
And they did it.

I can't tell if the amiga was underpowered as hell or the games were just shit.
It's got a soundchip that everyone jerks off that 99% of games use for complete silence. (except for the same metal clang/explosion/weird grunting noise you hear in every amiga game)
Single button joysticks didn't help things...
The death of ranger was pretty much the final nail.

I think the games were definitely shit, but look who was making them. I don't think Europeans discovered how to make decent games until the late 90s. Sometimes I'd watch gameplay videos of Amiga games and they'd all look horrible. Maybe 1 out of 30 looked interesting, but not necessarily fun to play. 1/100 looked fun to play, maybe.

At the time it looked amazing. It shit all over pc and consoles. that parallax scrolling was like being in the future.

The current year Amiga fandom is so unhinged, it makes the Nintendo fandom seem normal in comparison.

Atari fanboys especially jaguar one(all five of them) are even worse.

Had a Atari ST, a pass down from my mothers family in the Netherlands when we came here. That thing was next to useless.

The death of ranger was pretty much the final nail.

I was under impression Ranger never existed beyond paper napkin. You mean perhaps AAA chipset.

What alternate reality did you come from? What else is different there? Who is the president of the United States right now?
Oh yeah those were kb.
Ancient times.
I still remember the intros, all the games were pirated and all diskettes were infected, but since almost nobody owned a HDD, it didn't matter at all.
