I'm sure I missed some, but I got tired of scrolling.
 
Possibly unpopular opinion but: Comics are rarely an art form. From their birth they've been made to be disposable entertainment for people of average intellect. Made to be read, passed around, and finally assigned to final duty as tinder, bird cage liner, and emergency toilet paper.

There are exceptions to this, but they're fairly rare. Most of these people are still making toilet paper.

I rarely give comics a glance anymore but Frank Cho is a top notch troll, a good artist, and I feel like he'd be fun to hang around. Unlike Rodriguez.
 
"Created by the children of immigrants" is a pretty fancy way of saying "created by Americans." Okay, technically Shuster was born in Canada, but that hardly counts.
I'm being cheeky, but this whole thing is so stupid, nobody in Comicsgate has ever said anything about disliking foreign or immigrant creators. This is just more empty virtue signaling against some nebulous, right-wing extremist group that doesn't actually exist.

I will speak on behalf of Comicsgate and say we will protest any work created by Norwegian immigrants in America. Norway is the World Capital of Evil and responsible for the JFK assassination, the death of Archduke Ferdinand, Stonehenge, the moon landing, and countless other acts of terrorism.

We will not make deals with such monsters. You can quote me on that.

With IDW sinking like a stone, Netflix might be better off waiting and seeing if they can pick up IP rights from bankruptcy sales. Unless the Disney monster wants those too.
 
Holy shit, that is terrible. What a way to advertise your new number one with a character comic buyers already rejected and almost universally hate. I keep seeing more and more wrong with it; the ET body proportions, oddly positioned and bent arms that are different lengths because the artist ran out of room, the facial features that are too big and placed too high giving a long jaw and a head that just stops....

It's worse since this is the cover art, which is supposed to look good so that it catches buyer's attention.

If that looks like shit, god knows how bad the rest of it looks like...

I still appreciate that they tried to distance her from Tony so she can have her own identity. It's a bit over-designed and has some questionable color placement but I'm certain you can find a decent design for her somewhere in it.

Especially if your intent is to appeal to young black girls with "here's a hero like you!" then it's probably better to go with an armor design they'd be able to draw themselves. Assuming she's not like Tony who keeps getting a new model every few years.
