Got my Earthworm Jim box. I say I got the box because there was no book to be found in it (although I did get the goodies)

Doug got back to me right away and they're sending me a new one, so I'm fine with it. Just wondering if anyone else got the box, goodies and protective packaging but no book? Or am I just the weird unlucky one?

Best case scenario, someone just fucked up with the packaging. Worst case scenario is people swiping books again like they did with BFB. People just can't keep their hands off the things

Yeah I kind of thought it might have been stolen cause there was a flap sticking out the side of the box. But it wasnt actually "open", didnt look like any force was used on it and there were still goodies and foam protective packaging inside.

Like I said, no biggie and Doug was very quick getting back to me about fixing it. People can say what they want about Doug and some of his antics but with this kind of customer service and top notch products hes going to easily have repeat customers.

Well now he's selling it for $50 instead of 25. That variant has a handful of listings on ebay for 85+ , so there is still some residual value for the original backers, if they've all gotten it by now. It is silly that Cyberfrog is all one crowdfund when he wants accolades for the most crowd-funded comic, but separate campaigns when he wants to avoid criticism for foisting variant covers to the same customers.

You can't tell me it costs $12 to ship the 3 floppies when the giant box that hardcover EWJ came in cost the same amount.

I'm not sure about Doug's expenses. I know he charged different prices to different locations, with wide variation in price. He got hosed on BigFoot Bill with shipping and adjusted, but it seems that a lot of people paid nearly the same price for shipping as they did their books. It's a tough thing to work out.

I'm asking $12 worldwide, for shipping, packing supplies and workers to assemble the packages, stuff and label them and ship them. I've already advance paid the fulfillment center $150,000, and I guess I'll get another bill from them when everything shakes out. If I overcharged, I guess I'll expect a refund. But from what I'm seeing, I'll expect another bill.

I'm just happy I finally can hold the thing.
The book is a little smaller than I thought, though.

Pretty sure Yaboi did it to emulate the Gold and Silver Age dimensions, which were around 6.75' by 10.375'.

Both books are about 1/12 of an inch smaller than Chosin. I kind of like the lack of uniformity in Meyers' books.

Received GOD-KING today. Of the 12 CG books I've supported since the beginning of 2018, the only ones I'm still waiting for are Red Rooster and Cyberfrog+Ashcan. Rooster was due March 2019, Cyberfrog was of course due November 2018. I'm just about to give up all hope for ever receiving either.

Received GOD-KING today. Of the 12 CG books I've supported since the beginning of 2018, the only ones I'm still waiting for are Red Rooster and Cyberfrog+Ashcan. Rooster was due March 2019, Cyberfrog was of course due November 2018. I'm just about to give up all hope for ever receiving either.

I'm just waiting on the Graveyard Shift books myself.

I got lucky; only the cunts behind Red Rooster, the Black and White book, and the Brutass book couldn't commit, and at least Brutass had the problem of the team breaking down so I don't have any ill will towards them. Seriously though, I really am satisfied with most of my stuff.

So my Blood Honey chromium cover with the 1998 ashcan came yesterday. I explicitly ordered at the 50$ tier since the verbiage of the IGG page led me to believe that would get me the Amphibionix ashcan as well. Apparently not.

Jon did a whole livestream on Christmas about his ideas for ComicsGate. He's slowing down on videos because, like me, he's working hard on his comic. But he's also becoming really good at his videos. He did a whole old-fashioned radio production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL that was impressive.

I had forgotten about Black and White, but he got the books about two weeks ago according to his last indigogo update and they're being shipped out now, so there's that.
