I feel like Comicsgate died with Zack pulling out of the Waid lawsuit.
In the time since, I've lost interest in CG and comic books as a whole. I still check in from time to time, but with the election, and now this gamestop thing going on I find all that more interesting. I've also enjoyed reading through the DSP thread here on the farms.

Catching a little of my interest is Preston's Last week in comics being in talks with a "
really massive deal" for his comic company which will focus on science fiction action and violence to consume in a variety of media. No telling if a Werebear will be a part of that as of yet...
More importantly than that he's teased a
CG Documentary which according to him will focus on some really interesting drama we had. Though he doesn't indicate who, or what exactly would be a part of such a production. Only that this would be a "forthcoming documentary."
The last book I backed was
The Abductables 2: Reticulous which I'm hoping will be successful, as the first entry was probably my favorite CG offering.
Alien Alamo By Graham Nolan looks excellent and the Art for
Groken looks good. The Story pitch however gives me pause:
This Odyssey is set in a rotten era where myths were sadly forgotten and science corrupted the hopes of a good tomorrow. A singular theory makes the regiment shudder and the system now fears that the secret will be revealed and that the right to the crown will be claimed by the myth, a creature that bears the name of GROKEN.
GROKEN.
Born as a beast and forge as a man.
I don't know what to make of any of that, but it looks like its 42 full color pages of some really great art.

I spoke with Mr. Fernandez during Last week's
Drawn and Quartered: Kaiju! Round 115 He seemed upbeat and determined to finish the long overdue campaign which was originally due February 2020.
