It's stupider than that. He is a retard who lives with his mother that tried to "make a living" by buying stacks of books made on the indie scene courtesy of CG. He decided to do this with credit cards because he's a genetic dead end who will die alone and starving to death. This put him into stupid amounts of debt and basically nuked any chance of him making money, made all the worse by the fact that the Indiegogo books are already at their premium value IMO as a consumer (seriously, 25 plus shipping is max price IMO for novellas like that).

It probably doesn't help that he stores them like shit; no seriously what type of retard opens his stock to the elements like that?

Then, once Ethan actually showed finished books, he decided to use the main thread with its 2 million + views to try and make a personal army to both force refunds and open a market for him to try and get people to buy the shit that's hogging space in his room. The problem is he became a greedy retard and refused to take the refund, because he wanted the books and art that he paid for as well as it. He then chimped when he was laughed at and told to fuck off for such a pathetic grift.

Oh, and his own family think he's a waste and is disappointed in him never growing up, there's that too.

Items like that sold as collector's items must be in absolutely pristine condition unless they're extremely rare, which isn't going to be the case for an item that is already going to be owned by the vast majority of people who want it because if they wanted it THEY WOULD HAVE ALREADY BOUGHT IT.
 
And you are so much of a Exceptional Individual I made a account here to laugh at you. I ordered 50 of these Comicsgate projects....50. I've had 2 refund and only one is undeliverable ((because half of the team-the one who had the money-died))

I asked my local comic guy and he said most of them have 0 value [ and I am ok with that] Jawbreakers will probably worth some money to a historical collector, Graveyard Shift and Cyberfrog will might maybe be worth something to completionists.....And thats about it. MAYBE if the Breitweisers or Tim Lim make good on their publishing ventures their stuff might maybe be worth some money in the future.

EH...Of the books I have gotten most are better then what the big two. So I am basically paying for better then average GNs. I am overpaying BUT.....I want to encourage building a better community of indie producers
