Billy Tucci is a name artist with a long history but then Mike Baron is even bigger by that metric and Chuck Dixon would be higher than Ethan since he had maybe the longest Batman run ever and is the most prolific comic writer in history not to mention creating the biggest new Batman villian in 30 years.

But the pyramid is about having stroke in CG not industry cred. Dixon, Baron and Tucci are all relatively minor players in the CG acqarium. In the real world they are pretty big fish but in the CG pond there are much bigger fish that would be considered minnows IRL.

In the fucked up world of CG Mike Baron and Chuck Dixon, despite being legends, aren't big deal as writers compared to TUG and his vanity project Lovecraftian B&W children's book because TUG has more stroke in the community and it's not about how good your book is.

well, better late than never... WC's biggest problem this time is that they started to fuck with a pretty big channel. She is also beloved in the Fandom Menace and has a lot of big time friends in there. So far WC has been making fun of fucking Mike S Miller and Edwin. LOL... if they bring the FM in this it will be like the ending of the battle of Helm's deep.

WC isn't going anywhere anytime soon, the fuckwits of the -even more autistic than CG- Fandom Menace have trod on the toe of Ro-bul abulshit amir and that simply isn't going to fly with the CG customer base.
This is the chickens coming home to roost. Ethan has enabled these autistic fucks for years and their power to swarm chats with their Roman LARPing and sperg outs is more than any of the CG tards can handle.
Just look how unhinged Malin has become after only a few days of the barrage.

Comic books are these guys life and they aren't about to share the stage they have with a bunch of star wars nerds.
At this point so many people have been fucked by EVS and his larpers that a good percentage of people are willing to pour gas on the fire just to watch it burn.
Shelling out refunds for ribbitcoin is just the tip of the iceberg, CG customers are closing their wallets because anyone who gets popular becomes the target of gay ops run by Ethan sycophants.
The Bratzpirella cover is over 20k so there are still plenty of paypiggies at the bottom what we are witnessing is a collapse at the top of the pyramid. The inmates run the asylum now it will be interesting to see how long it takes before they mass flag cecil and deplatform him. His customers are not the Fagdom menace so the direct impact he will feel from this insanity will hurt a lot more than an ethot with a large sub count and plenty of simps willing to throw themselves in front of her and die by the lightsaber.
 
So the war seems to be heating up. Cecil and Malin against WarCampaign.

Ethan's trying to keep out of it but if it continues he will have to chose a side.

Will he chose the super fans or the creators?

My guess is that he's trying to guess which will cost him less fans and dollars but the rumor has always been that WarCampaign has something over Ethan that he can't let see the light of day.

Could be bullshit. Or maybe not.

My money is on Ethan sticking with WC at great financial cost.

Either way this is starting to look like a massive implosion.

Is it still ComicsGate if Ethan walks away? Does WarCampaign become Anti-CG if Ethan backs Malin and Cecil? Will the factions refund each others books on mass as retaliation? Does anyone actually believe that Cecil is straight?!?!?!?!!?

Cecil likes things that benefit his friends and himself, and is against things that don't benefit them.
That's really the complete extent of the man's moral education.
His "then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me" moment is truly well deserved.

Cecil woke up on how wc are bad apples when they done almost two years of gayops and ti'ed cash grab is hilarious. He should stay off the booze and centipedes.
 
At this point I’m glad to see WarCampaign tearing what little is left of CG apart. They were warned over and over again about them. When WarCampaign turned on Mike, Doug, and Edwin and started harassing them non stop, Malin, Cecil, and EVS were totally on board. They buried their heads in the sand to WC fucking with people that followed them and it was only a matter of time before it effected them directly.

At one point, him and Pan are saying "no one speaks on anyone's behalf"... well, why is EVS claiming that he and everyone else is speaking on Richard's behalf then?

EDIT: I would also like to remind everyone that EVS is saying he'll speak on Malin's behalf in a debate against either Ro or Pan. So which is it now? God, I should go get some popcorn. "Speak on _____ behalf" is basically code for "I'll say this for you because you'll fuck up the narrative" at this point.

A few days have passed since the end of the original 30day rekt planet buy in and frog's pulling in ~1/2 the backers compared to BH. If the pattern holds I'd expect him to wind up with ~6350 (i.e 1/2) to ~6500 (surely RP holds some very lean BH days) backers in total. Despite 1/2 the sales more money has been made due to RPs higher price point, however it's not twice as much. If it holds the current trend I'd expect it to make between 758k and 800k, falling short of Doug Tenapel's EWJ crown.

That'll really chap frogs arse.

*Note this isn't based off any real math, just a sped eyeballing it.

I thought everyone knew that an invitation to the halls of debate in the context of a -gate was just code for "come on stream, and my autist anons totally won't find a handful of soundbites to harass you further over. I promise, and I also promise my fingers aren't crossed"

Yet Ethan is about to debate one of the ringleaders of his harassment corps. Do these idiots even know how to -gate?

A good easy-out would be "It doesn't matter at the end of the day because it's providing a creator with enough money and flexibility to make what he wants, and if a bunch of whales want to overpay to keep it happening who gives a shit?", but I don't think I ever see anyone actually argue that. It's at best ignored and generally just responded to with "REEEEEEEEEEEE SHUT UP TRANNY YOU'RE A TRANNY WE'RE #MOVINGTHENEEDLE YOU TRANNY!". Did anyone even stop and consider that possibility that not every initial backer could have been counted on to pay the exact same amount every time? Did anyone even care?

Are people actually saying that? I thought it was accepted that people would usually get lower backers of varying amounts as time went on unless you're really putting out some amazing shit. The same way there's a drop-off after any #1 issue until it hits a customer sweetspot. Besides at this point, it doesn't matter what CG does. They're very much sectioned off from the mainstream, which is dying via shitty practices and corona coming in for some deathblows. I mean sure, lower backers for them would suck, but comics themselves would be fine as a whole. As Richard said, it's far too late for CG to change anything significant and people still gonna make funny books regardless even if DC, Marvel or CG get wiped off the map. Direct Market is basically dead as we know it though after this shit.

But yeah, if anyone is still arguing this is saving comics, they're exceptional.
