Comfort food

Shitty frozen pizza has fueled me through some bad times: it takes zero thought and effort, is hot, full of fat, salt and carbs. Perfect for when you are physically and emotionally drained.
If I have a cold or flu, I go for stews and soups. Split yellow pea soup is an edible hug. Also a roast chicken dinner has almost magical restorative powers.
 
Hot chocolate m.ilk does the job for me if I’m at home. But if I’m in a restaurant (and preferably someone’s paying for me) definitely a petit gateau.
 
A cheeseburger or pizza will always do the trick.
Or if I want sweets, I'll go for chocolates or baked goodies.
 
Baked fish sticks and Kraft macaroni and cheese, or chocolate, or cherry pie, or ice cream.
