So, I understand that those with purple names are moderators. They can delete posts, threadban, etc. Those with red names are administrators who apparently can declare users halal, but what other functions do they serve? Does it take one of them to permaban someone?

What does the supervisor tag mean? I almost never see it. How does it differ from administrator and moderator? Why are there so many distinctions. I also saw one guy with a founder tag, which is of course self-explanatory. I think I saw a dude with a green tag once, was it @Huntin' Slash?

Can anyone explain the ranking system, the power entailed at each level, and the need for such structured authority? I am sincerely just curious.

Tagging @Vitriol as an easy starting point. Do you know?

Purple - moderator
Green - global moderator
Red - admin
Null - owner

Purples can warn and delete or move posts. Greens can do practically anything. Reds can do more.

Yes, the full hierarchy is/was something like this:

Null-site owner
Red- admins- can approve halals and have final say on disciplinary issues. Can also rename. Currently Clown Doll and Flowers For Sonichu. Katsu is an unlisted red. Has access to the admin sub.
Black- admin/content creator- used by Jan briefly following the deaglenation reveal. No current occupant.
Yellow- formerly dunsparce. A token colour.
Green- Global moderator- can permaban, view registration emails, etc. Currently surtur, dunsparce, huntin slash,
Blue- Conflict Resolution Officer- a kiwi designated with resolving internal disputes and disciplining those who cause drama. Formerly Flowersforsonichu. No current ocupant.
Purples-formerly local moderators, now with limited global powers to delete posts, issue warnings, lock threads, remove ratings and check ips. Lowest level of access to the staff sub.
Grey-Supervisors- local mods confined to one sub with power to delete and move/merge posts and threads. Cannot view the staff sub or tts. I don't think we have any currently but myself, alan, val, anom, jaimas, meowth and waggley were all greys once. I think saney too but im not sure.

There are also retired staff and founders which are self explanatory.

Orange-wiki sysop- mods the wiki
Light blue-verified- person of interest
Green-true and honest fan- paid donor, has access to the supporters sub
Grey- christorical figure- involved in cwc and often pvcc

Pink name struck through- the former appearance of banned users and a joke between certain forum vets and vet staff.

There are also unlisted content finders who can feature threads- bearycool and ariel are examples.

Última edición:
The proper term is "rankings of color", not "colored rankings", thank you.

I am the Supervisor for Inner Circle

I only allow the most quality posts, doxings, warez, forum rumours, nudes, government secrets etc in my subforum. Respect these rules or you will be dealt with harshly
