I'll put it this way. Simpson sat for 3 years, couldn't get a starting gig elsewhere, and Deboer couldn't bring in anybody better. They got lucky last season with a bunch of Saban recruits. He's cooked, Pac12baby will be out by bowl season 2026. Lane Kiffin will take the throne.
