Law Colin Kaepernick files lolsuit against NFL owners - "Wah I can't find a job"

He's claiming there is a conspiracy against him by the team owners to blackball him. I guess what he doesn't realize is that when you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. It's a shame too, cause he was actually a fairly good quarterback. I can't blame the owners though, because he should just be focusing on winning games, and not throwing tantrums.

>mfw an overpaid spoiled millionaire jackass's actions start to catch up with him

It's almost like starting a shitshow big enough to cause a national backlash against your former employer puts you on a blacklist.

In a nutshell, there's no conspiracy against him, it's just that most teams don't want to deal with a controversial media circus that prevents them from focusing on organizing the team, especially when the quarterback's stats are not stellar, and especially when you have multiple other capable quarterbacks looking for a job.

:offtopic:Urinatingtree? I haven't seen him around in years. Nice to see he's racked up a decent subscriber base:offtopic:

I'm willing to wager that some team will draft him eventually, probably to try and signal how socially aware they are.

Nobody wants to hire a QB who wears Fidel Castro t shirts, had a 2-12 record in the last season he played, got more sacks than yards in a single game, and drug his employers into a political controversy that's set to cost them and their sponsors 200 million dollars? Colour me shocked!

Well. This is why you don't bite the hand that feeds you.

You can protest anything you want. But protesting the song of the country that made it possible for you to get millions of dollars playing a game is the mark of someone who doesn't realize just how bad things could actually be, so don't be surprised when people stop taking you seriously.

It's nice to see acting like an asshole has consequences again. For way too fucking long our society has given "the right kind of people" a pass on their shitty behavior.

It's a shame employment in the NFL is likely at the national level and probably doesn't include an "at-will" clause or he would have just been canned a long time ago with no possible legal recourse.
