this makes some book and comics fans extremely angry

this is an example of my fav, "pretend to be wrong about something that is way too stupid for anyone to be genuinely wrong about". It has endless applications. You'll get hundreds of people trying to teach you something that no one needs to be taught.

Classic trolling techniques? I remember when link shorteners weren't widely used, but I thought they were just the coolest fucking thing. The amount of people I tricked into clicking lastmeasure was insane. Sometimes going on certain message boards was like playing Russian Roulette. If it was a high-profile enough place, you never knew if it was going to get raided by 4chan ebaumsworld and wind up full of goatse, other shock images, or give you seizures.
