US Chuck Schumer hospitalized, as DC heat wave rages - Chuckles said to aids it felt like over 6,000,000

WASHINGTON − Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-New York, was hospitalized June 25, after feeling lightheaded in the gym, according to his office.

"Out of an abundance of caution, he went to the hospital to be treated for dehydration and is now back at work in the Capitol," Schumer's press secretary, Allison Biasotti, said in a statement.

Washington has been broiling this week, with the Mid-Atlantic region under a start-of-summer heat wave.

Temperatures in the capital city have reached above 100 degrees in recent days and hit a high of feels like 109 degrees the day Schumer went to the hospital, according to the National Weather Service.

Schumer "wants to remind everyone to drink some water and stay out of the heat," his spokesperson said.

I once read somewhere on some long gone internetz forum about tourists who arrive in Miami on air conditioned planes that drop them off at air conditioned airports, then they get in air conditioned cars to go to air conditioned hotels, then actually walk outside, go down to the beach to bake, and get more than they bargained for as they immediately have heart attacks from the temperature shock. Supposedly a source of much lulz from the perspective of the locals, most of who are from Caribbean shitholes where there's no AC and thus they've evolved to handle it. So something like that coulda happened to the Chief Hook Nose, especially since he's so old and worn out. Fuck, he already looks like the evil banker on The Simpsons.

I wouldn't go to the ER for something like that. My niece broke her arm once, and my sister took her to the ER and they didn't see a doctor for 8 hours. Then they had the nerve to bill my sister $900.

She would've been better off nigger rigging a cast. Would've saved them from a lot of pain & suffering, time, and money for the same results.
