I, too, remember the time when I first heard Christopher Hitchens spoke. Him and Thomas Sowell were the first “free thinkers” that I knew about that no one else did.

I know I'm one of the lefty libtards on this board but Hitchens is someone who always inspired me and solidified my belief in free speech.
Thanks for sharing I've not heard this speech in a while.
ps. how many other people went through an edgy atheist stage as a teen and read his "God Is Not Great" and let it blow your mind? Honestly quoted that book constantly for years. As an adult I still enjoy it (same with The God Delusion).
