Post in this thread your favorite Christian songs of any genre and denomination.

Bill & Gloria Gaither - Keep On the Firing Line [Live] ft. Anthony Burger

Battle Humn of the Republic - Banjo

Alabama - Angels Among Us

Anima Christi

Canto dei Sanfedisti

Johnny Cash - When The Man Comes Around

Parle, Commande, Regne

The Canticle of Brother Sun

My favorites off the jesus christ superstar soundtrack, specifically the original studio album
Everything's alright

What's the buzz
The temple
Spoiler warning- judas's death

Not sure if Faith +1 counts :)
Eric Cartman - Jesus Babay

More seriously, Nick Cave has written beautiful christian inspired songs, especially since the passing of his son
God is in the house

Old one: Into my arms

Johnny Cash, I saw the Light - it's from a Columbo episode, but it seriously rocks

The original by Hank William is arguably better:
Hank Williams - I Saw The Light

The original Sinner man song (we all know the Nina Simon rendition, I tend to prefer this one)

Great thread!

Jesus is a Friend of Mine by Sonseed:

Betrayed by Antestor
Really the entire The Forsaken album from them. Fun fact: Hellhammer of Mayhem fame drums on this and some of their other stuff.

The entire Scrolls of the Megiloth album by Mortification.

Deviate by Circle of Dust

Invasion of Israel by Saviour Machine

Storm the Gates of Hell by Demon Hunter

My Grief, My Rememberance by Crimson Moonlight

When the Sun Sleeps by Underoath

A Fault Line, A Fault of Mine by Underoath

Guess my favorite style of vocals. I'm sure that will be hard. The 2000's was an amazing time to be a Christian kid who tried listening to mostly Christian music. About half the bands at Warped were Christian.

Fantastic thread. Here's three:

Harold Darkes edition of In The Bleak Midwinter

Memphis May Fire - Pharisees

Red - Breathe Into Me

Antestor's so good. Forsaken is a good album, been listening to Martyrium and Return of the Black Death a lot too.

Surprised you didn't mention Deliverance, considering Weapons of Our Warfare is an album secular people praise (no pun intended).

TAX:
Lately been listening to Wytch Hazel, which is Protestant Thin Lizzy essentially. Here's the album they released this year:

Also been listening to Tourniquet's first album, Stop the Bleeding. Thrashy goodness right here:

Forgot about them. Also didn't listen to them much in my Christian music phase because I jumped right to the black and death metal bands the second I wanted something harder than Demon Hunter as a teenager. Took me awhile to get into thrash metal for some reason.

Definitely should check them out now that I love thrash metal.

More:

Shoes by King's X(got kicked out of the Christian scene for having a gay member. Don't care.)

If I Were A Killer by Galactic Cowboys(honestly no idea if they label themselves Christian. They got promoted as that by Christian publications for some reason, so it counts for now)

Última edición:
Not sure if they count since they didn't profess the faith, but Trouble walked so everyone else could run, so to speak.
Psalm 9 full album:

The Skull full album
