Christchurch: A Retrospective - What are your opinions?

I remember that shit show. Not fondly mind you. It's not like the anniversary of the earthquake where I remember it with sadness, this I just remember with a mixture of anger and disgust.

Without power levelling in relation to my old account or what I actually saw:
  • It was the primary reason I began using a vpn as the ISP's here had dns blocked 4chan and the farms.
  • It completely shattered reality as I got to watch the government and media make up lies about this place in real time. Up until that point I still mostly assumed the media was biased by relatively honest. I cannot state how unequivocally this one event in tandem with how horseface fucked us on covid (and more or less all of it), completely altered my worldview and corroded any faith I had in the state.
  • It also exposed the next set of grifters in society and how utter spineless modern corporate really is (I love that the Crusaders logo now looks like two dicks touching and that they got rid of the horses).
  • Finally it demonstrated how human empathy and grief can be hijacked by sociopaths in order to push an agenda of online censorship outside our borders, re-enforce media collusion and crack down on civil liberties in the name of kindness and tolerance. I know instinctively recoil in disgust when I hear that phrase.
On one hand, a lot unarmed foreigners were murdered in cold blood by another foreigner that day and I don't really celebrate this nor do I understand those who do. Just for what it is and for what it has lead to here.

On the other it radically and fundamentally altered and shaped who I am today in terms of perspective. Maybe I was always going to end up having peaked behind the curtain, but this helped push it. I left the site for a year or so after the fact, but in saying that the mods at the time were pretty nice about the whole thing and I'll never forgot how funny it was having Null tell the Christchurch Police Department to suck a dick.

@Null - you were fucking cool that day, not sure I ever told you that.

Thanks for keeping this place running in spite of it all. I really do need to send you some cash. Thanks for not ratting out TRUE and HONEST kiwi's to the feds that day.

look i'm all for justifying acts of terrorism against your political opponents but just shooting a bunch of people unarmed in a mosque is so gauche that even the israelis don't do it
😂😂😂😂😂

but seriously tho.

Its better to target people like George Soros and cut the head of the sneak.

That would actually bring political change.

The majority will not support targeting "Innocent people" no matter what.

The world has shifted to the right but it had nothing to do with him.
Wonder how much there was to him being Mossad
I doubt it. Kikes groom some kiwi sperg into shooting up a mosque of random praying muzzie boomers because... why exactly?
Mandela bay, 9/11, Charlie Kirk.. all inconspicuously gave 3 letter agencies justification to do whatever and make broad moves which they weren't allowed to make before these events. From what I remember after Christchurch new zeland just tightened up their gun laws slightly and tried to bully sites like kf into dropping the video. That's literally it.

If there's one thing I'll give jews props for is having good business sense. But if Mossad WAS behind christchurch, then they got royally fleeced out of their shekels with this one.

I remember going to school the next day and my classmates went "lol im the kebab destroyer" and made jokes about it the whole day. Those guys were chill I should've probably kept in touch instead of shutting myself inside my room.
It's never too late to reach out to old friends. You should do it!

Edit: I know they were probably not close friends, but there's no way they mind you getting in touch and asking how they are doing since you went to the same school

There's a deep irony in going to a different country to your own, screaming 'invaders out reeeee' then start blasting.

Like, nigga, if you're so convinced by that line of thinking surely your home turf is the correct place to enact your plan?
Turns out our fair and sensible gun control works so well that even our most committed mass shooting terrorists have to go do their mass shootings in somebody else's country.
