Why any of you were giving Chris money in the first place is beyond me. He has squandered literally every dollar he's ever had.
If you ever paid taxes in Virginia you should be legally allowed to raid his house now that it stands empty. You paid for that huge pile of toys, videogames, unwashed clothing, and pet carcasses.

There's very strong evidence that Chris did this and Barb didn't want it. I wouldn't put it past Barb to recant and deny because the alternative means dying outside of her home. She knows she doesn't have much time and a trade off for loving on her own terms means having Chris force himself inside her.
They'll do it again and again until Chris is either caught with his hands down the pants of a child or in the possession of kiddie porn, then they'll do it some more.

You just gave me a horrifying thought, what if Barb tries to bail her son out one more time? Mother's Mercy, and all that. An incredibly fucked up version of Mother's Mercy and done for entirely selfish reasons, but still.
Well, the State won't care and the science won't lie. It'd be just a despicable horrible final act from her. One more nail in the coffin of the proof that she would coddle and shield her son from any real life consequences no matter how horrible his actions are.

Hmm I can easily see Barb throw Chris under the bus if she really wanted to and punish Chris just for the sake of it, knowing her history, she is a vile despicable old women that has treated everyone around her incredibly poorly throughout her life, if she wanted to and is mentally stable enough to do so, she can frame Chris as an uncontrollable monster and entirely blame shift most of attention directly at Chris, she would still face punishment for incest charges I believe, but because of her precarious position financially as well as her age, her sentence would probably not be that severe, it would be Chris that would be facing maximum punishment at that point.
However, this possibility does fall apart if Barb is just not all well in the mind (if she actually does have dementia or something similar), and she can't coherently bring enough evidence to the table that she was completely innocent and the guilt solely rests on Chris (but this could then end up being worse for Chris, because if Barb was just so out of reality at the time that she couldn't comprehend that she was having intercourse with chris and/or being raped at times, I'd imagine the prosecution will absolutely rip into Chris especially if they have so much evidence that they may have found in the interviews/analysis of Barb, Chris's computers/hard drives/whatever else they can use against him).

His favorite accessories dangled upon his neck and limbs; a Sonichu medallion and crystals underneath his stubbly blubber with Fisher-Price and Ariana Grande's 7 rings around his hairy knuckles. He felt like he was about to twerk out of this dimension with his delusionally perceived supple body and large breasts when a guard said, "You're ready to go Christine".
All of a sudden, Chris smelled the familiar fragrance of Aspricream, mothballs, cough drops, and stale piss, which gave him an erection; it was mudder. Chris followed Barb and the guard out to freedom; Chris' finally was able to feel the wind over his bald spot once again!. it is 100% because of Hinckley's NGRI. The years right after Hinckley's NGRI have fucked that plea so thoroughly that IIRC, four states completely got rid of the plea, and the fed adopted Insanity Reform '83 which brought the plea backwards from ALI standard of inability to conform conduct to the traditional M'N rule.
(I also have schizobrain beliefs about Hinckley's whole deal, his family's connections to glow, and the ascendancy of the Bush family but that's kind of tangential to the fact the shithead ruined insanity pleas)

Understatement of the century. Slight PL, but at work we had to come up with a process for prefiltering out all the irrelevant pr0n when we'd ingest scraped forensic data from custodians to database for legal doc review teams to work on, there was so goddamn much of it. Parents sexually abusing their children might be common, but an adult sexually abusing their elderly parent is extremely rare. They probably don't have anything in the system for that.

I haven't followed this whole thread so not sure if this has been mentioned. Since Chris will have outbursts during the hearings, can they ban Chris from the courtroom for being too disruptive? Or does the defendant have to be present to proceed?

My theory is that he's going to get really introverted and quiet due to his time in prison. He likes to be pushy and disruptive but only to a point - when the other side demonstrates a superior position he always backs down. By now he's probably tested the limits with other inmates and COs, and realized that's not a fight he's capable of winning.
