The Virginia Court website and inmate website really does need to be updated for the times. I mean I live in a Podunk town in the middle of nowhere and our sheriff website will literally tell you the reason why someone's arrested what they've been arrested for in the past and when their next court date is including what judge will be seeing them.

I would assume it's because they don't have a category for mother/daughter incest.

It does make you wonder if Barb may be potentially charged as well if she said it was consentual as a few people have mentioned, and if or how that would affect Chris's charges or sentencing.

It would be an interesting trial if her dementia is really as bad as they've claimed.

To everyone asking why no rape charges:

In a situation like this, incest charges are much easier to proved because of physical evidence. The police likely found some kind of proof of what Chris was doing with Barb, if not through a DNA kit, then other evidence at their home, like, say, texts of him talking about it, a book about sex with disabled people, or the bondage gear in his texts with his semen on it.

Figuring out if Barb consented or not is more difficult. They’re going to need a therapist to determine whether or not she’s able to consent at this point, and that takes more time to go through than finding evidence of the incest that happened.
